Gingerbread Holly - Ho Ho No! with Polkadoodles

Hello Everyone and a very Happy Christmas to you all!

I hope that wherever you are and whatever you are doing today that you enjoy the day but remember its only a day.

Today I'm sharing my last card for this year made with the recent digital release Gingerbread Holly  by Polkadoodles.  I have to say that I have loved working with this collection so much - its been loads of fun but I have had to replace some of my pens with so many gingerbreads to colour.

For todays card I have used 3 of the digital stamps, Oh Snap,   Christmas Cutie and Oh Crumbs

What would Christmas be like without a cheeky pun ? I think the cute ginger at the end has had a bite out of him by Santa.

My simple DL card has layers of beautiful bronze glitter card and a coordinating teal paper from the Baked with Love collection. I love the mix of teal and brown and I think its a perfect combination for Christmas.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from this new collection

New Release - Theo the Penguin - Skiing with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone happy Wednesday and a Happy Winter Solstice too!

Do you love to Ski?

I'd like to be able to say.....ooh yes we go skiing every year, especially as there is a wonderful Ski resort only about 1 hour away above Granada in the Sierra Nevada mountain range...but sadly we don't.

I have had lessons when I was younger on dry slopes and up in Scotland in Aviemore on real snow but its just not for me.

I'm terrified of the feeling of moving downhill, walking too !  I think its because of my poor balance and vertigo and its definitely got worse over recent years.

Oh well I'll stick to more sedate activities on level ground ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Today I have a wintery card for you using the cute digital Ski Theo coloured with my promarkers and then fussy cut out.

The sentiment and wintery paper are also from the Theo the Penguin collection and I've added the sentiment to my paper panel on the computer before printing it out.

Its a simple 5" x7" card for today with a simple design but I think this would be a great winter birthday card too especially for anyone that loves to Ski.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next card I share.

Bitty Bears Christmas with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Thursday!....

So after around 12 months of virtually no rain we have now had steady rainfall for a few days now - it's wonderful to see all the plants in the garden looking refreshed after the long hot summer too.

Most of the remnants from the Calima have also been washed away finally which is wonderful.

It's only ten more days now until Christmas Day so I hope that you are all ready and I'm sure you are more organised than me.  My Christmas cards finally were posted on Monday and I'm hoping that they arrive in time

Today I'm on my blog to share another cute Christmas card that I've made for Last Minute Manda  using the Bitty Bears Christmas set  - all of the images in this set are so easy to colour and create quick cards.

Today I have a landscape A6 card that I've added a simple layer of tartan paper and red foiled card to for the background.

I have added a die cut a circle of white card with a simple stamped Christmas sentiment to the card for my coloured image to sit on.  Before adhering this to the card I have uses a snowflake embossing folder to add some texture to the bottom of the circle element.

Just a few red sequins scattered around the image and then I have a very clean and simple Christmas card

If you head over to the new Last Minute Manda store font forget to use my special discount code Wendy25 to get 25% off your shopping.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Winter Wedding with Polkadoodles

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Today is Digi Choosday and the start of a new challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog

It's DIGI CHOOSDAY! over at Polkadoodles so the start of a brand new crafty 'Anything goes' challenge and an amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

This week the DT was asked to make an elegant card for a Winter wedding.

I decided to use the Wedding car digital stamp from the Work and Play collection 9 - Love and Kisses

For me elegant means simple and classy with a simple design so I chose to make larger a 5 x 7 card using a pale blue colour palette.

I started by choosing 2 wintery blue papers from the Rose Budd collection and then used these to choose my Promarkers to colour the image.

I selected the modern congratulations sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Fairy greetings bundle and added this to the striped blue background before printing out.

I the die cut a heart from the pale blue check paper and added this to my background panel so the heart was hanging over the edge.  Once the glue was dry I trimmed off the excess and then adhered this to my card blank.

The digital image was fussy cut out and mounted in the centre of the card using foam tape and then I've added some simple iridescent sequins around the card.

I hope that you like my card for today and will come back to see my next project

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

With Love this Christmas with Pink Gem Designs

Hello everyone - wishing you a wonderful Saturday.  Did you know that Owls have a most amazing long legs - tucked away under all the feathers and fluff ?  there is definitely something rather magical about owls and not just the ones delivering the post to Hogwarts.

I'm here today to share another Christmas card that I've made using a new digital stamp set Christmas Owls by Pink Gem Designs

For my card today I couldn't resist using more of the beautiful owls from the black and white digital set.  Don't forget but there is also a wonderful pre-coloured digital stamp set too if you prefer not to colour or just need to make quick cards. Both of these sets includes the sentiment too.

For todays card I decided to use the other digital stamps  which I have resized and added to my branches before printing out and colouring with my Promarkers. I created an ink blended background for todays card using distress oxide inks and then splattered this panel with water droplets and then gold watercolour paint.

The sentiment is a gorgeous stamp set by Woodware, simply stamped in black

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project.
