New Release - Stamps - Happy Christmas with Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Monday.... I hope you had a great weekend.... we had a wonderful meal yesterday with friends, trying out a new (to us) restaurant that has been created in an old train carriage.  It was also an opportunity to take the new car out for a little spin too.

What an amazing experience and the food was delicious so we'll definitely be returning I'm sure.

I'm here today to share my next design team project for Lili of the Valley (LOTV) using the super cute new A5 stamp set is called Happy Christmas , its available to buy in their Etsy shop and its so versatile and very easy to colour.  Perfect timing for those last minute Christmas cards.

I decided to create a landscape slimline gingerbread card, stamping and colouring three gingerbread men onto alcohol marker friendly card, colouring them with my promarkers (see below for colours) and then fussy cutting them out by hand.

For the background of the card I used some distress oxide inks to create my dreamy looking  snow landscape, blending over Kraft card and adding snowy dots and highlights here and there with a posca pen.

I die cut the letters from the Krafty Christmas 8" x 8" paper pad - I have been hoarding these papers since I first bought them many many moons ago as they were too scrumptious to use but as they are also now available digitally on the website I thought perfect time to use them, as there will always be more now!

The background panel was adhered to a loopy panel of brown glitter card and the card assembled first adding the letters flat to the card and then the gingerbread  using foam tape for dimension.

I then created my scene, adding the stamped images, some flat to the card and others adhered using foal tape to add dimension to the card.

The finishing touches were then added, glossy accents to the icing on the gingerbread of sparkly iridescent sequins  around the design.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Digi Choosday - Wednesdays - Snowman Card with a front pocket with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday I hope that your having a good week so far....I hope you have remembered our new Digi Choosday is now on a Wednesday.

As were now in October..... yes its flying by...time to crack on with all of those Christmas makes !

It's that time of the week when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create a Snowman card with a pocket on the front so I decided to
use the fabulous and very cute new Gingerbread Cookie release..... I just love all these sweet little Gingerbread cookies as they look like they are having so much fun.  I know its a Gingerbread but my card today features the Snowman Gingerbread Cookie.

It's a very simple A6 card today with layers of pretty papers from the collection layered onto teal satin card.  To create the pocket on the front I simply cut two panels on an angle and layered them with patterned papers.  To create the pocket itself I have mounted these onto the card using foam tape to crate dimension, adding foam only at the edge and the bottom of the pocket, allowing something to be included in the pocket.

Just a few touches of glitter was added to the snowman's pompom on his bobble hat and a few pieces of confetti around the design.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from
Polkadoodles.

I just wanted to say Happy Fall with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Friday.......I hope that you've had a lovely week!

We've had another busy week, work is progressing well in the bathroom and the Craft room/study ceiling and new electrics and spotlights are in .... my goodness I cant believe the difference some proper lights makes.

It's going to make a huge difference crafting in there over the darker Winter months.

Still a few weeks to go before we can start to move things back in but I can start to see the light at the end of the very dusty and noisy tunnel now.

We have now lived here in our little spot of paradise for 6 years - time has flown by so we have treated ourselves to a night in Granada, staying last night in a wonderfully luxurious 5 star hotel. I could definitely get used to it!

On my blog today I have another Autumnal card for Last minute Manda with a cute little Autumn card using this sweet little Gingerbread boy from the Autumn Sweets Collection

One of my favourite Winter drinks in the UK was a Pumpkin spiced Latte although I didn't have all the extras like cream and marshmallows.

I resized the gingerbread boy in my graphics software for an A6 card and then coloured him with my Promarkers before fussy cutting out and adhering to the card.

The background paper again is another oldie that I found in my stash but I love the leaves and the colours and decided just some simple mat and layering with a dark brown cardstock was all that was needed.

It's  difficult to see in the photo but i used a dotty embossing folder to add a little texture to the circle of card that the gingerbread is adhered to.

The simple sentiment has been stamped and heat embossed in white, added to the top of the design.

I finished off my card today with some simple gold confetti and a few highlights of white gel pen.

Don't forget about the fun challenge currently taking place in the Last Minute Manda Facebook group!  to create a Halloween or Fall card/ project - the winner will be able to choose 3 stamp sets of their choice.

The only rule is you must use one of the images from Last Minute Manda in your project - if you don't have any yet there are some freebies in the Facebook group ! or you can head over to the Last Minute Manda Store

Hello Sweet Friend with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Thursday .......I hope that you're having a lovely week!

Yesterday I went for lunch with the ladies here and had a yummy Menu del Dรญa and only 12 which is excellent value for 3 courses and including a drink !

Today we are doing a little more work in the garden whilst the renovations continue in the house and then hopefully going on the local town walk as long as my feet feel better later on - they are still a little sore from all the dancing at the Feria last weekend.....

Today I am on my blog with latest card for Last minute Manda with a cute little Autumn card using yummy Gingerbread girls from the Autumn Sweets Collection

Isn't she a cutie with her toffee apple !

I love making seasonal cards that aren't specifically for Autumn or Halloween and with this generic sentiment it definitely fits in for most of the year really !

I resized the gingerbread girl using my graphics software to suit a smaller A6 card and then coloured her with my Promarkers before cutting her out and adhering to the card.

The background paper that I've used is an older paper that I found in my stash but I love how it matches the main image, with apples and blackberries.

I blended a small amount of orange ink directly onto the card blank behind the gingerbread girl and then used some orange dye ink to stamp the sentiment strip.

I used a little orange card to make some Ricrac, added a few sparkly orange gems and glossy accents to the toffee on the apple to finish off my card.

Before I go I wanted to let you know that there is a fun challenge currently taking place in the Last Minute Manda Facebook group!

The theme is to create a Halloween or Fall card/ project - the winner will be able to choose 3 stamp sets of their choice.
