Fluffy Kisses - It's Your Birthday - Floral Bunny - New Release with Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Sunday.... I hope you are having a great weekend.

The sun is shining and its lovely and warm in the full sun but ooh its freezing in the shade and in the house too LOL

I'm back today with a card project for Lili of the Valley (LOTV) using one of the gorgeous  stamps from the brand new release  called Fluffy Kisses and is full of fluffy bunnies.

There are digi stamps for you to colour and there is also an A5 set of of Polymer stamps which is available to pre-order now from the Etsy shop.

If you don't like to colour then there are also beautifully coloured Simply Prints available too so something for everyone.

My card today is using one of the sweetest digital stamps stamps from the Fluffy Kisses collection . This image is Bunny Flowers and perfect for my birthday card today.

This is a larger A7 or 5" x 7" floral card with a luxurious touch of shine.  I printed the image on my LaserJet printer onto Neenah Desert Storm card for a more natural feel and then coloured with my Promarkers,

To add texture and extra fluffiness I used Polychromos pencils over the bunny for fur detail.  Then I have added black foil over the bunny and gold foil over the sentiment. Its so difficult to see in the photo which is quite annoying as its beautiful in real life.  Here's a close up to hopefully show the shine.

The card design has been kept simple without too much extra fluff as I really do prefer a simpler cleaner look these days but I chose a pretty floral paper from my stash for the background.

I matted the paper onto a dark raspberry card and die cut a tin arched frame to draw the eye into the main image.

Finishing touches were some dark plum coloured gems around the design for a touch of sparkle.

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Autumn Birthday Wishes - Autumn Wreath - with Pattie's Creations

Happy Friday everyone I hope that you are all well and have had a lovely week.

The first Friday of the month marks the start of a new Challenge for December over on the Pattie's Creations Design Challenge blog

The challenge runs from the first Friday of the month and its an Anything Goes challenge or our theme for September is School Days, so as long as you use a digital or stamped image in your project, why not join in the challenge.

Winners of the challenge will receive 2 digital stamps of your choice from Pattie's shop.

Pattie has some wonderful digital stamps in her Etsy Shop pattiescreations and there is also a freebie every month on the blog that you can use in your project if you want to!

For my September project, I chose  to use the Autumn Wreath
digital stamps to create a 6" x 6 " card.

This is definitely a more traditional style of card and quite different to my recent creations but I'm pleased with how its turned out.

I resized the image to suit my card size and added an autumn sentiment into the centre of the panel before printing out on my LaserJet printer.  As I was going to create some extra layering I printed out some of the leaves a second time.

I then used a selection of distress inks to colour the leaves with an autumnal palette before fussy cutting them out.

I then applied gold foil to the extra leaves that would be popped up on foam tape for dimension and used rose gold foil for the sentiment in the centre.
For the background I used a linen effect embossing folder to add texture to Kraft card and then applied white dye ink over the texture to soften the look.

To finish off the card I added some white gelly roll pen highlights to the acorns and scattered gold confetti around the design.

I do hope that you like my card for today and don't forget to join in with this months challenge over on the blog.

Enjoy the rest of your day !

May Birthstone card - Emerald - Easel Card - Octavia collection - Digi Choosday - Big Bunches of Love with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday.  I hope that you have a lovely day today and that you enjoy your week ahead...

It's that time of the week when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create an easel card for a May Birthday with the birthstone Emerald.  I have to say green isn't my first choice for a colour palette but I do love the colour.

I started off with a 6" 6" Kraft card base and folded this to create a twisted easel card. I then chose a couple of papers, one with gorgeous leaves from the Noodle Panda collection and the purple polka dot paper is from a new Winnie Collection due to be released very soon.

I used these papers along with some green and emerald green card to created mats and layers on the card and also to choose my colour palette for the main focal image, with Promarkers (see below for colours).

I wanted to use a beautiful image from the Octavia collection.  It's not a collection I have used before but there are some gorgeous digital images and papers that you will love.

I'm loving this bright and colourful combination of purple and emerald and I think her emerald green hair is amazing.

I used a little distress ink around the edges of the leafy paper to take away some of the whiteness.
Finishing touches where some super sparkly purple and green sequins from my stash, a piece of recycled green twine and white and metallic green gel pen highlights.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles

New Release - Gingerbread Holly - Ginger Cutie with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone - Wishing you all a lovely Sunday - I hope you are having a great weekend.  It's still lovely warm and sunny here during the day, so we've been doing a little gardening each day trying to get on top of the weeds. I'm hoping to go back to Pilates tomorrow too fingers crossed!

I'm here today with another of my card samples made for the latest new digital release from Polkadoodles
There is lots more inspiration for you for this new collection from the DT over on the Polkadoodles ideas gallery.

I'm certain you are going to love them for your Christmas projects and don't forget if you don't like colouring the collection is also available with pre-coloured digital images.

Today's card is another larger 5 x 7 card that I've made using a combination of papers from the new collection and a previous collection Baked With Love -I really love how these two digital collections work so well together.

The background paper is from an earlier bundle called Baked with love, I've layered this onto some Kraft card as I think this is perfect for these sweet gingerbread digitals.

I've then used heart shaped dies to cut a panel of Kraft card and a smaller panel of paper from the new Gingerbread Holly Papers 1 I printed out a poinsettia and some holly leaves from the Baked with Love foliage set and adhered this to my heart panel which has been adhered to the background panel offset to the right.

I cut some card ricrac from Kraft card using a wavy border die for the left side of my card and used the Delicate Daisy Corner die  again cut in Kraft card to add beneath my poinsettia - don't be afraid to snip into your die cuts like this one so the tendrils can be positioned where you want them !

The sentiment I've used is from the Baked with Love sentiment bundle

The finishing touches are some red sequins scattered over the card and some Nuvo drops in gold on my leafy swirl and the centre of the poinsettia.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from this new collection
