Digi Choosday - Christmas - Snowman & Animal - Hope your day is Snow much Fun - Theo Penguin Collection - with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday... I hope that you're having a great week so far and that the weather is being kind to you.  

It's the end of September and our local town Feria has finished and life has now returned to relative normality after all the celebrations - loud and loads of fun as always.

It's time for the Design Team to share some more inspiration for our current 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog. I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing Digi Choosday discount off all crafty printable downloads!

The theme set for the DT this week by Nikky was Christmas and to use a Snowman and an Animal!. The perfect project for my all time favourite penguin Theo although he's definitely not just for Christmas in my opinion.

My card today is a larger 6" x 6" card, made from lime green card - I can't remember the name of the card style but it folds back in a Z shape and is really easy to create starting with a piece of card measuring 11 1/2" x 6", scored at 6", 7", & 9".

I think it's called a book binding Z fold card.......

Then cut a second piece of card measuring 6" x 3 1/2", this is the front panel for the card, onto which the image will be adhered.

I started off by choosing one of the Christmas papers from the Classic Winter papers bundle to match the lime green card, layering this onto the card base.

I resized the image of Theo and his snowman friend, colouring this with promoters before fussy cutting out.

The arch was die cut from the lime card and I added a layer of white glitter card into the arch frame before adhering the coloured image onto this panel and then adding a few pieces of teal confetti around the design.
