Sugary Sweet Cookies with Last Minute Manda

Hello Everyone its Wednesday and the last day of November - I hope that you all have a lovely day today.

Today I'm here to share a sweet little card that I've made using a digital stamp set from Last Minute Manda

Todays card design features one of the cute digital image from the Sugary Sweet Cookies set that I have coloured using my Promarkers before cutting out.

The card is an A2 (US size) with a panel of red gingham paper from the new collection by Polkadoodles
Theo the Penguin  paper bundle 4,  I used my stitched edge die to create a cross stitched detail around the panel and added a layer of vellum with a wavy edge  to the centre of the card - the vellum gives a good contrast for my coloured digital image to sit on so it doesn't get lost with the patterned paper.

At the base of the card i have used some plain white card but die cut a section out of the card before adhering this with foam tape. The sentiment used for today's card is from the Polkadoodles Gingerbread Holly greetings bundle

The cute digi has been adhered to the card with foam tape and wet glue and then some simple red sequins added to finish off the card.

Don't forget if you head over to the new Last Minute Manda store use my special discount code Wendy25 to get 25% off your shopping.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Christmas Kitty Pocket Fold Card with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone wishing you all a happy Tuesday.

Today is Digi Choosday and the start of a new challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog

It's DIGI CHOOSDAY! over at Polkadoodles which means not only a brand new crafty 'Anything goes' challenge but also that you get an amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

This week the DT was asked to make a winter card with a pocket on the front using only animals.

For my main focal point I chose this very cute Christmas Kitty digital stamp from the Winnie White Christmas bundle .  This little cutie definitely reminds me of one of our kitties so I coloured him up as a ginger kitty.

For my card I made a front pocket fold card.

I started with a piece of cardstock cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and then scored this at 4 1/4" along the long side, folded and burnished to make my card blank. The finished card fits a standard C6 envelope.

Next on the front panel of the card I measured along the short edges 2 3/4" on either side and made a small pencil mark and then measured 2 3/4" along the long edge, again making a small pencil mark.

Using
my scoreboard I scored between each mark to the centre point, creating two triangles, scoring and burnishing so that these flaps folded up to make an arrow shaped pocket on the front.

To make the pocket itself - I cut a triangular piece of the same cardstock to adhere across the two triangular flaps.

I then chose papers from Baked with Love set, Winnie Christmas Wishes and the new Gingerbread Holly  collections to coordinate with my purple base card.

To finish off the card I cut two fancy border strips from matching cardstock and added sparkly gemstones (you cant have too much bling at Christmas).

I added a sentiment from the Winnie White Christmas sentiments set, that I had printed onto vellum to the front panel layer of my card.

I wanted to create a removable tag to sit inside the card pocket so die cut two hearts from matching card, adhering these back to back - I only put glue at the top of the hearts so the tag would slot over the pocket. I cut an additional heart from matching paper and then adhered the very cute ginger kitty to the front of the tag using foam tape.

I decided to add an extra sentiment from the Baked with Love collection to the back of the tag.

I hope that you like my card for today and will come back to see my next project

New Release - Theo the Penguin - Snowman with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone - wishing you a lovely Sunday.

I have such a simple card today for you using the new release Theo the Penguin by Polkadoodles.

This digital stamp is called Snowman oh I hope that he doesn't fall over but I think this was perfect for my circular card as it does look like the snowman might topple over.

For this  single layer card I used my graphics software to overlay the black and white digital stamp and the sentiment onto the snowy background from the paper collection 3 before printing it out.  You could very easily use the pre-coloured digital stamp to create this card.

I then coloured my penguins and snowman with Promarkers and simply die cut this using my torn edged circular dies.

The base card is simply die cut using my Lisa Horton Crafts dies and I've added a layer of beautiful glitter card to the base for sparkle.

I've added just a few clear iridescent sequins around the panel to finish it off.

It doesn't get much simpler!

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from this cute new Theo the Penguin digital collection

From Owl of Us with Pink Gem Designs

Hello everyone - wishing you a wonderful Saturday.

I'm here today to share another Christmas card that I've made using a new digital stamp set Christmas Owls by Pink Gem Designs

For my card today I have used the black and white digital set but there is also a wonderful pre-coloured digital stamp set too if you prefer not to colour or just need to make quick cards. Both of these sets includes the sentiment too.

I wanted to create a single layer card so used my graphics software to add 3 of the owls from the set to the branches onto a digital paper background before printing out and colouring using my Promarkers.

Once coloured a added some sparkle to the snow on the branches, earmuffs and pompom and glossy accents to the owls eyes

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project.

Ho Ho Ho with Pink Gem Designs

Hello everyone - wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.

I'm here today on my blog to share another Christmas card that I've made using the Santa Gnome and Reindeer digital stamp set by Pink Gem Designs.

This digital download set is available in the Etsy shop Santa Gnome and Reindeer and it comes as a pre-coloured digital stamp, a black and white version and there is a cute sentiment included with the set too.

I love colouring my digital images with my marker pens, but sometimes when we don't have lots of time and especially at Christmas when there are so many cards to make, using a pre-coloured image is so fast and it's really easy to make a gorgeous card too.

This is a 5" x 7" card so I started by creating my background - I used a snowflake digital paper from my stash and then overlaid the sentiment onto this using my graphics software on the computer.  Next I resized the image to suite this panel and printed this out twice so it cut be decoupaged.

I really hope that you like my card today and will drop by again to see my next project.

Hello everyone - I hope that you have had a lovely Sunday.

I have another card for you today from the very cute new digital release Theo the Penguin from Polkadoodles.

This digital is called Pile of Gifts and I think would be great for lots of different celebrations. I used the black and white digital stamp and coloured him with my promarkers but he is also available as a pre-coloured image

I added some simple stencilling in red ink to the top of a plain white tag using the Heavenly Circles stencil and then adhered some of the patterned paper from paper bundle 4 to the bottom of the tag along with some red satin ribbon before added my fussy cut penguin to the tag using foam tape.  The sentiment is from the greetings bundle. and I've inked the edges to match my stencilling and then added some iridescent gemstones to the tag.

The tag would be perfect added to a Christmas gift as it is but I wanted to add it to a simple 6 x 6 card.

I've chose extra papers from the paper bundle 1 and layered these on my card base adding a snowflake border, die cut from matching red card.

I added some extra die cut some snowflakes and ribbon to the top of my tag to finish off.

It's a little bit more fussy than my normal style of cards but I wanted to make something bright and cheerful and am really happy with how it turned out.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from this cute new Theo the Penguin collection.

Hello everyone - its Friday Yeah! and today I am so happy because I can start to share my samples for the latest new digital release from Polkadoodles

It's another super cute new collection of digital stamps, papers and of course sentiments which was launched by Nikky Hall last night - if you didn't manage to watch here is a link so you can watch in catch up.

This new collection is called Theo the Penguin and there are some gorgeous images that will be perfect for not only your Christmas projects but winter celebrations and other projects too.  If you head over to the website there is currently a huge 35% discount off the collection (for a limited time only) and for those Polkadoodles VIP's you should have received an email yesterday with a very special discount just for you.

If you aren't a VIP then why not sign up, its free and you will receive emails in the future with special savings on new and existing releases.

I had loads of fun working with this new release  - who doesn't love penguins after all.  I'll be sharing more of my projects with you over the next few weeks.
There is also lots more inspiration for you for this collection from the DT over on the Polkadoodles ideas gallery.

My first larger 5 x 7 card I have used the digital stamp  Which Way which I have coloured using my Promarkers.  He is also available as a pre-coloured digital so don't worry if you prefer not to colour yourself. It also great using the pre-coloured digitals as they make such easy and quick projects - perfect at busy times of the year.

I created a simple ink blended background fro this card using distress oxides and then splattered this first with water, to lift the ink and then splattered with white paint to give a snowy look.

I die cut two snowbanks for the bottom of the card and then finished it off with some glitter and confetti.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from this cute new Theo the Penguin digital collection

Everyone Gnomes you love Hot Chocolate with Pink Gem Designs

Hello everyone - wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.

I'm here today on my blog to share a Christmas card that  I've made using the Hot Chocolate Gnome digital stamp set by Pink Gem Designs.

This digital download set is available in the Etsy shop Chocolate Gnome and it comes as a pre-coloured digital stamp a black and white version and there is a cute sentiment included with the set too. Normally I choose to colour the stamps myself but I'm waiting for some replacement Promarkers to arrive and I couldn't wait to use this design.

I resized the image to suit a larger 5 x 7 card blank and then printed it out twice so that I could fussy cut and decoupage some of the gnome features of the design.

The green polka dot background paper that I have used was left over from the Baking Ginger gift bag set that I shared from the other week and I have used a border die to give this a simple cross stitched edge.

I decided to create a snowy hillside for my gnome to site on, cutting some gorgeous white glitter cardstock with border dies again.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project.
