A Passion for Markers BlogSpot Challenge #699 - Christmas Animals

Hello and a happy Tuesday to you all ! 

My goodness what a couple of weeks we've had - It's been so hot here as we are in the middle of a heat wave named the Cerberus Heat wave by the Italian Meteorological Society which is affecting many European countries.

It's all about trying to keep cool and hydrated.  My Cousin and her hubby have been staying with us too for a holiday and to celebrate my birthday and it's been wonderful catching up - a little too hot to do a great deal but that's not such a bad thing really.

I'm here today to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Di's Digis 

The theme this week chosen by Me for Team 2 and as its Christmas in July I chose the theme to Use Christmas Animals.

I chose an image from my collection of digital stamps from Dis Digis - I think it came as a gift from the Kit & Clowder Facebook group so I cant remember this cuties name.  I coloured the sweet pup with my Promarkers, before fussy cutting him out.

For my snowy scene I have used distress inks to create a snowy sky and then used a snow stencils to add embossing to the background before splattering with white acrylic paint and adding sparkle too.

I have die cut a snow bank from a white/silver glitter card stock and added a strip sentiment from Lisa Horton Crafts.
