I love Promarkers #544 Anything Goes Sponsored by CFL Designs

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! I hope that you are having a lovely week.

I'm on my blog today for the new bi-weekly I Love Promarkers blog challenge , it would be wonderful if you joined us over there if you love to colour with alcohol markers and don't forget there are prizes up for grabs.

You can find all of the rules and details for the challenge over on the blog.

This challenge is being sponsored by CFL Digi Designs one of our amazing and very talented teamies Caroline.

Here is my inspiration card for the current blog challenge with the theme - Anything Goes, using the funny set of digital stamps called Aliens No 2

I thought this would be a perfect image to make a fun birthday card for my Grandson's birthday next year (yes I'm planning ahead I know !) and I don't make enough male cards.

I wanted to create a galaxy background for my card today so started off with a peice of watercolour card slightly bigger then an A6 card blank.

I used 4 distress oxide inks blending them randomly over the panel of card and then adding water to allow the colours to merge and oxidise.  I continued adding more layers of colours until I was happy with the overall effect - it doesn't need to be perfect at this stage so don't worry about blending the inks.  Next I used the black distress ink over the top leaving small patches of colour to pop through the back.
Adding water and drying between the layers gives loads of depth to the panel.  Finally I splattered the card with white and silver paint and then used a white gel pen to create some little stars.

To create the planet at the bottom of the card I used a die to cut a circle for the aliens to stand on and then used distress ink and a moon stencil to add detail to the planet.
I used a balloon die to cut vellum balloons for the aliens to hold adding little white highlights to each.

Once everything was completely dry I assembled the card adhering the planet at the bottom of the card, mounting the aliens with foam tape and adhering the vellum balloons.

The sentiment strip was mounted at the bottom and I added a little glossy accents to the aliens eyes.

I really hope that you like my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the I Love Markers blog

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !
