I Love Promarkers #536 Inspired by a Film

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! I hope that you are having a lovely week and the weather is being kind to you.

We have had loads of wonderful rain over the past couple of weeks and the garden is looking so much greener and full of life now.  Its such a relief after so many months of not a drop.

I'm on my blog today for the new bi-weekly I Love Promarkers blog challenge , it would be wonderful if you joined us over there if you love to colour with  alcohol markers and don't forget there are prizes up for grabs.

You can find all of the rules and details for the challenge over on the blog.

This challenge is being sponsored by Paper Nest Dolls

Here is my inspiration card for the current blog challenge with the theme - Inspired by a Film, using a fun image called Boy Wizard.  Does he remind you of anyone?

I definitely don't make enough boy/man cards so I decided to use this image to create a card for my son's birthday in July.  When he was younger he definitely had a look of Harry Potter about him, so I thought this would be a perfect card for him.

For today's  A6 (UK size) card I have resized the image and added a sentiment in my graphics software before printing out onto alcohol marker friendly card.

The image was coloured using my Promarkers (see below for colours used) and then I have used a funky stencil with distress ink to create the background. I thought that the swooshing of the stencil looks like its magic exploding out of his wand.

The finishing touches for my card today are some fragments of glitter around the magical wand and a touch of glitter pen.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my magical Inspired by a Film card for today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the I Love Markers blog

Digi Choosday - Lilac Haze digi deal with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone wishing you a very happy Tuesday.  I hope that you have a lovely day today and enjoy the week ahead.

It's that time again when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is Florals, so
I chose to use one of the amazing Digi Deals that Nikky has recently released.

This is using the Lilac Haze Digi Deal which is such great value for money as it includes:

❤️ 1 x BLACK & WHITE digital, printable image in .PNG format (clear, transparent background so you can layer files easily in a graphics program if you wish) - perfect for crafts, cardmaking, scrapbooking etc.

❤️ 1 x pre-coloured digital, printable image in .PNG format (clear, transparent background so you can layer files easily in a graphics program if you wish)

❤️ SVG & DXF outline cutting file to cut around the shape of the digi stamp - import the relevant file type into your electronic cutting machine program and use to cut/trace/create your own cut lines. (Silhouette Cameo = DXF format, Cricut/Brother Scan n Cut = SVG format)

❤️ 3 x digital, printable greeting in .PNG format (clear, transparent background so you can layer files easily in a graphics program if you wish)

❤️ 7 x digital, printable papers in .JPG format

I decided to make an A6 (UK Size) one layer card so created an A6 panel in my graphics program and then I have added the black and white digital image, one of the papers and then one of the sentiments from the deal before printing out onto alcohol marker friendly cardstock.

I chose to colour these flowers in a bolder purple colour palette as I think they resemble a flower that grows here in the area everywhere we go - don't forget they can be coloured any way you choose.

If you don't love colouring or need a quick card then the digi deal includes a pre-coloured version of the image which has been hand water coloured by Nikky herself!

I also have a very special DT discount code that you can use for all your shopping on the Polkadoodles online shop at checkout use WENDYJ-10 and you will get 10% of your entire purchase (not in conjunction with other discount codes!)

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles.

This is a Joy Fold Z fold card and is a really easy kinetic card to make and great when you have such lovely and fun papers to use.

The base card is a simple 6" x 6" card and on one of the panels I have scored at 3", folded and scored to create my Z-fold.  Next I have cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 1/2" x 9", scoring at 4 1/2", folding and scoring to make a simple card. I chose a green card to tie in with the colouring of the image

Next I have chosen some bright green cardstock and used this to mat and layer papers from set 1 of the collection.

Noodle and the cute baby panda popping out of the box were coloured with my promarkers (see below for the colours), using colours from the papers to coordinate with my design. I have partially cut this out and adhered this to the smaller card using low profile foam tape.

To complete the card I've die cut a flag banner using a die from my stash and a label from the same green card adding these to my card.  The letters are little puffy alphabet stickers that I've coloured yellow to match.

Just a little clear sparkle has been added to the party hat and the present and I've scattered some colourful clay hearts around the design.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from this sweet new Noodles the Panda Collection

You Are a Star - Birthday Bunnies with Pink Gem Designs

Hello everyone wishing you all a happy Friday... I hope that your week has gone ok....nearly the Weekend !  Were more or less back to normal now after our trip away and the holiday washing is finally all dried and put away.

The rain this week has been wonderful and the garden it looking so refreshed - hopefully we'll have a little more but I'm not greedy.

Today I am sharing a card that I have made for for Pink Gem Designs using the very cute Bunnies digital stamp set

This fabulous set includes 7 black Line art images and 2 sentiments for you to use.

I decided for todays card to create a stencilled background using a beautiful starburst stencil from Clearly besotted. It comes in two parts, the starburst rays and the star so its a really versatile stencil to use.

I used 2 distress inks to create the starburst
effect and then used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the panel before mounting this onto an A2 (US Size) card blank.

Before adding my bunny to the card I stamped the sentiment towards the bottom right of the card and then positioned the bunny on low profile foam tape over the central star.

I added a little clear sparkle to the bunnies wings and then just a few pieces of gold confetti were scattered around the design for extra bling.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Get Well Wishes with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone wishing you all a happy Thursday I hope that you have a lovely day.

I'm a bit out of sync with my blog posts at the moment after our trip to France  but I wanted to share my latest DT inspiration card for Last Minute Manda

I have made today's card for a special friend who isn't feeling too well at the moment and I wanted to send her a little hug.

I have used a very sweet set of digital stamps called Get Well Wishes

It's a simple A2 (US size) card.

I have used a hearts stencil and 3 primary colour distress inks in rainbow order to create my background for this card, overlapping each one gives me 2 additional colours then cutting out the panel with a stitched edge die for detail.

The poorly mouse was coloured with my promarkers and I have then fussy cut him out, adding to my card with low profile foam tape.

I chose a sentiment strip from Lisa Horton crafts and sat the mouse on top of the sentiment towards the bottom of the card

To keep the card simple just a few sparkly sequins scattered around the design to finish it off.

Don't forget if you head over to the new Last Minute Manda store use my special discount code Wendy25 to get 25% off your shopping.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

I'm here today to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog challenge and its a special Anniversary challenge.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by 9 wonderful and very generous sponsors.

I decided to make a Joy fold card today to show off the pretty papers that I've used from the latest Noodle the Panda release by Polkadoodles as I thought they complimented my coloured image really well.

My sentiment is stamped in Versafine Clair ink using a stamp from a set by Mama Elephant called Up and Away and I've used some green distress ink to colour the white card to co-ordinate with my papers and the image.

This sweet image of Bella was coloured with my Promarkers (see below for colours used) before being fussy cut out.  I used a stitched heart die  to cut a heart from green mulberry paper and used a floral embossing folder to give added detail and texture to this heart.

The small heart border strips are Washi tape that I've had in my crafty stash for ages and just 3 pieces of Candi were added to finish off my card.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

I Love Promarkers Blog - #535 - A Circular Card

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! I hope that you are having a lovely week and the weather is being kind to you.

I've scheduled this blog post so fingers crossed it posts ok and looks ok - apologies in advance for any glitches.

I'm on my blog today for the new bi-weekly I Love Promarkers blog challenge , it would be wonderful if you joined us over there if you love to colour with  alcohol markers and don't forget there are prizes up for grabs.

You can find all of the rules and details for the challenge over on the blog.

This challenge is being sponsored by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps

There are so many funny and quirky mages in the store to play with so it was really difficult to choose for today.

Here is my inspiration card for the current blog challenge with the theme A Circular Card, using a fun image Cuddly Critters Elephant

I think this Elephant is looking so confused - maybe its because he keeps rolling over on my circular card

Elephants are my favourite animal so I knew I had to use this chap coloured with my promarkers (see below for colours ) before cutting out.

Todays circular card is made from a 6" x 6" card blank, I have cut the card using my largest circular die and then added an extra layer to hide the top/fold of the card.

I have used some fun papers from my stash from an old DoCrafts collection that I thought were perfect for my fun card, matting and layering with pink card stock.

The two strip sentiments are from Lisa Horton Crafts, simply layered onto the pink card.

The finishing touches for my card are some pink enamel dots and glossy accents for the elephants eyes.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my magical card for today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the I Love Markers blog
