A Passion for Markers BlogSpot Challenge #684 - Animals

Hello and a happy Tuesday to you all !

I'm back today with a new DT Inspiration card for the Passion for Markers Blog challenge.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by the wonderful All Dressed Up.

I think this is my first time colouring a digital stamp from this company and I was really looking forward to the opportunity.  It definitely wont be my last image as they are beautiful wispy/sketchy images and lovely to colour and definitely different to my normal style of digital stamp.

There are load of lovely images in the store, so why not take a look and join in with the challenge.  Don't forget there will be a prize for the Winner of the challenge - there are more details over on the blog.

The Blog theme chosen by Nat for Team 2 is 'Animals' and this is my inspiration for the challenge made using a digital image from All Dressed Up called Summer Swing - I couldn't resist it when I saw this sweet Kitty on his Swing.

I've coloured him like our cat Smokey who is sadly no longer with us but I'm sure he would have loved being on a swing like this kitty who I think is having loads of fun.

The image was coloured with my Promarkers (see below for colours used) before being fussy cut out.

It's a larger 5" x 7" card and I've created a cloudy background panel for my design, blending distress ink with a cloud stencil then layered onto a piece of Kraft card, leaving a small border.

I used one of my newer stamps to add a perfect sentiment to my card, stamping with a blue Versafine Clair ink.

The branch was die cut from the Kraft card (its hidden below my cloud panel) and then I have die cut leaves from an inky background created with several different green distress inks.

To complete the card I have mounted my kitty onto the cloud panel using low profile foam tape so the swing rope is tucked under the branch.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !
