Just here for the Boos with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone and a happy Sunday!

I'm here today in blogland with my Penultimate card in my Halloween card series for Last Minute Manda.

For someone that doesn't really do Halloween - I can honestly say I have loved creating cards with the super cute   Ghostly Good Time digital stamp set and I've loved all the different looks and styles of card.

I have used the same colour palette for this card but my background piece is a little different today.

I have in my stash a number of pre-cut plain white card background panels, they were part of a monthly subscription kit from Craftwork Cards several years ago so decided to dig these out and get my distress inks out.

There are several dies on the market now that allow you to create this same or similar looking panel so its worth having a shop around.

I began by securing my panel to my glass mat with a very low tack tape - I wanted to leave a white border around the panel too and then used my purple, green and orange distress inks to blend across the panel.

Once I was happy with the amount of colour and blending I carefully splattered water droplets across the panel followed by ink splatter using the same colours with the addition of some black watercolour paint.

I left the panel to one side to dry completely before removing the masking tape

I decided to make two cards from this single ink blended piece so after carefully removing the masking tape I flipped the panel over and applied glue carefully to the strips that would be released from the main panel.

Next I placed the whole piece over a pre scored A6 card blank, applied gentle pressure to the panel and then once I was happy the glue had adhered I carefully removed the main panel - leaving strips of coloured card adhered to my card blank.

For todays card I decided to adhere a piece of black card behind the window effect panel.

I do love when you can make two cards at once!

I die cut two circles of card one white and one in black to adhere to the centre of my card and then used foam tape to fasten the cute ghost on to my card.

The finishing touches were the addition of some black gems and my sentiment

I hope that you like my card today and you'll pop back tomorrow to see my final card in this Halloween series.

There will also be a special treat coming tomorrow too so don't miss out!

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !
