New Release - Ghosties & Ghoulies - Halloween card - Cute Halloween Bundle - with Lili of the Valley LOTV

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Sunday......So September arrives tomorrow and as crafters were all busy making those Autumn and Halloween cards

It's new release day for Lili of the Valley (LOTV)  with their latest  Cute Halloween bundle featuring 35 very cute Ghosties, ghoulies and witches, definitely everything you need to create some fantastic Halloween projects.

The huge bundle is now available in the Etsy shop.

As well as this fabulous new bundle there is also an amazing offer on right now in the store..... for a limited time, if you spend £25 on digital stamps, including this new set then you will receive £200 worth of digital sets,  that's 39 sets with over 600 images so don't miss out.

For my first card I've used the cute little ghost, printing him out 3 times (I've revered the image on one of them too!). They were coloured very simply with a bright lime green just for the shading and then fussy cut out.

The card is a larger A7 card 5" x 7" with a background made from grey card stock that has been stencilled with brick work....I added extra white gel pen highlights to the brickwork.  I wanted to create the look of a doorway to a spooky house.  I added an arch of brown for the doorway and cut out an arched aperture.

Inside the house there is a cobweb panel, its a laser printed design that I have added mint green foil too and blended with lime green and grey ink.

Steps for the doorway were simply cut from grey card and shaded with ink and then adhered to the bottom of the door.

I then adhered the little ghosts and the sign into the centre of the panel.

Finishing touches were some glossy accents to the ghosts eyes and some black gems around the design.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share for Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hasta luego ðŸ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Hello everyone - Wishing you a lovely Monday and a good week ahead.

Halloween is finally here and I'm sharing my final card with you today.

This last card has been made using the 'offcuts' from the card that I made yesterday - If you want to know how I did this then head back to my previous blog post.

I've kept this fairly simple ans I love the contrast of the bright coloured strips against the white background.  Such an easy card to create and I think perfect for the final image from the Ghostly Good Time digital stamp set.

The coloured ghost has been popped up on to my card panel a few black gems added and my simple sentiment strip added towards the bottom of the card.

Before I go I want to share a special treat for you all!

Just here for the Boos with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone and a happy Sunday!

I'm here today in blogland with my Penultimate card in my Halloween card series for Last Minute Manda.

For someone that doesn't really do Halloween - I can honestly say I have loved creating cards with the super cute   Ghostly Good Time digital stamp set and I've loved all the different looks and styles of card.

I have used the same colour palette for this card but my background piece is a little different today.

I have in my stash a number of pre-cut plain white card background panels, they were part of a monthly subscription kit from Craftwork Cards several years ago so decided to dig these out and get my distress inks out.

There are several dies on the market now that allow you to create this same or similar looking panel so its worth having a shop around.

I began by securing my panel to my glass mat with a very low tack tape - I wanted to leave a white border around the panel too and then used my purple, green and orange distress inks to blend across the panel.

Once I was happy with the amount of colour and blending I carefully splattered water droplets across the panel followed by ink splatter using the same colours with the addition of some black watercolour paint.

I left the panel to one side to dry completely before removing the masking tape

I decided to make two cards from this single ink blended piece so after carefully removing the masking tape I flipped the panel over and applied glue carefully to the strips that would be released from the main panel.

Next I placed the whole piece over a pre scored A6 card blank, applied gentle pressure to the panel and then once I was happy the glue had adhered I carefully removed the main panel - leaving strips of coloured card adhered to my card blank.

For todays card I decided to adhere a piece of black card behind the window effect panel.

I do love when you can make two cards at once!

I die cut two circles of card one white and one in black to adhere to the centre of my card and then used foam tape to fasten the cute ghost on to my card.

The finishing touches were the addition of some black gems and my sentiment

I hope that you like my card today and you'll pop back tomorrow to see my final card in this Halloween series.

There will also be a special treat coming tomorrow too so don't miss out!

Too Cute to Spook with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone - It's Saturday again and really scary just how fast the weeks are flying by! It'll be 'You know what' in no time 🎄🎄🎄

I hope that you have had a lovely week and something wonderful planned for the weekend. I imagine there will be lots of Halloween parties planned and maybe a little early trick or treating over this weekend.

I'm back here today with my fourth Halloween card in my mini series for Last Minute Manda.

As with my previous cards I've used a digital stamps from the Ghostly Good Time digital stamp set

I have had the sugar skull paper in my stash for far too many years and thought it was perfect as a background to use with this cutie. I love how bright and colourful it is and works perfectly with my little ghost.

Because the background paper is so colourful I decided to adhere the cute ghost on a simple die cut circle of white card that I have inked around the edge with orange distress ink...this helps to differentiate between the busy background and the focal image....a layer of vellum would have worked also !

Just some simple layering on purple cardstock with a coordinating paper, some orange cardstock ricrac and a simple spooky sentiment to finish off the card.

Don't go yet....there's some exciting news !

Now you have seen a few cards that I have made with this digital stamp set, I can reveal that if you are a member of the Kit and Clowder Facebook group, this set is the freebie available to all group members from today for 1 week only, so don't forget to head over to the Facebook group, follow the instructions to download this cute set and get those last minute Halloween projects made. It's only available for free for one week !

Never tool old for candy with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone - wishing you a lovely Saturday !

I hope that you have had a great week...we've been really busy as things get back to normal after the long hot Summer.

Our almonds have been picked and sorted ready to be shelled and eaten - my favourite snack, roasted with olive oil, a little salt and smoked paprika..  JJ has been busy fixing burst water pipes (again !), making storage shelves in the garage and a cover for our new pergola sail and I'm back at my twice weekly Pilates routine and enjoying it !

I'm not a huge Halloween fan as I never really celebrated it in the U.K. when I was growing up, its not really a big celebration here in Spain either, but I couldn't resist making cards with these cute images from Last Minute Manda.

I've got 6 cards that I'll be sharing with you over the next few weeks that I have made using the Ghostly Good Time digital stamp set and I hope that you like them.

Here is the first installment in this mini Halloween card series.

One of the things that I love is the triadic Halloween colour combination of purple, orange and green - who would have thought these colours would work so well together but they absolutely do and I've stuck with this colour palette for all of my Halloween cards.

I'm starting off with a super cute shaker card filled with orange, silver and purple star confetti.

The main image and the sweets have all been coloured with my Promarkers (see below for colours used)

The Ricrac border has been cut from coordinating orange card using a simple wavy border die from Crafters Companion.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share in this series.
