With Love - Bunny Card -Digital Stamp Freebie - with Julia McNeill Designs

Hello everyone Happy Saturday I hope that you had a great week and something nice planned for the weekend - last day of August ! My goodness that's gone so fast but its been so hot over here so I'm hoping now for a few cooler days

Today I'm sharing a project for JMC Designs  that I've created using the Freebie Digital Stamp for August.

Who can resist a cute Bunny? I definitely can't and this is perfect all year round

Every month Julia McNeill very generously gives away a fabulous digital stamp, which is available to everyone in her Facebook group JMC's Crazy Crafty Hive and also to her followers via Instagram, all you need is to use your email address to register for the stamp.

Here is the link to register and download this months digital stamp. I've coloured the cute bunny with my promarkers and then used an arch die to cut it out.  Next

I blended a little distress ink for the sky and the grass.  I used the arch dies and a slightly smaller one to create a frame in a chocolate brown cardstock and then layered a panel of pink and brown paper from the Bumble buzz digital collection on the same brown card stock.

Next I fussy cut some of the cherry blossom from the ephemera set and adhered this in an arch over the bunny image.

The finishing touches were a few highlights with my white gelly roll pen and a few pieces of chocolate brown confetti

I do hope that you like my card for today and Id love it if you'd leave me a comment.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

A Passion for Markers BlogSpot #753 - Add a Button - Sponsored by Polkadoodles

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely day !

Today I'm here to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog challenge and I hope that you will join in.

This weeks challenge theme of 'Add a Button' has been chosen by Karen for team 2 and is being sponsored by Polkadoodles

For my card today I chose to use a cute digital image from the Wanda collection, this image is called Clumsy

Today I have created a faux stepper card that fits a standard 5" x 7" envelope, from green card stock. I have used a couple of papers from the Winnie Daisy Fairy 2 collection to mat and layer onto the panels.

The image was  resized to suit the card and printed out along with one of the digital sentiments from the collection onto alcohol friendly card stock. I then coloured the image of Wanda using with my Promarkers to coordinate with the bright colored papers.

I used a little distress ink to add a floor line for Wanda to stand on and then added little stars and some ink blending around the edge of the panel to take away the stark white of the card.

The button, from my stash was added to the bottom of the card using some emerald green twine and then I used my gelly roll pens to add highlights and sparkle around the design.

Once finished I added some purple confetti around the design.

I hope that you join in with the challenge as there is a prize from the sponsor for our lucky winner!

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

Halloween card - Ghastly Ghosts - Digi Choosday with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday. I hope you are enjoying the week so far.  Even though were still enjoying the Summer here, as crafters its time to start thinking of Autumn and Halloween!

It's that time of the week when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create a Halloween or Autumn themed card so I decided to create a Halloween card
.  We don't really celebrate Halloween but I have enjoyed making a few cards over the last few years, so I decided to use the Ghastly Ghosts from the Hocus Pocus collection for today - these cute little ghosts are definitely not Ghastly!

This is a DL shaker card, created with 3 little circular apertures, behind each window I have stencilled in black ink a spooky pattern using the vortex stencil.  For an extra spooky feel I have hand drawn little cobwebs on the acetate for each little window.

I chose 3 of the little ghosts, printing them out and colouring them with my spectrum noir pencils in a bright lime green colour so they definitely glow.  I used purple card stock to create little frames around the windows and filled the shaker with purple and clear iridescent sequins.

The finishing touches were little highlights of white pen and gold sparkle pen on the ghosts and I used a grey metallic pen for the spooky sentiments.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from for Polkadoodles.

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Just a little note - Digi Deal - Gnome feeding bird with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Friday, I hope you have had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend.

Today I wanted to share another sweet card that I've made using the cute new Digi Deal by Polkadoodles

If you haven't had a look yet it's a great kit packed with loveliness, there are 6 gorgeous fun papers, 17 sentiments and 2 digital images ( 1 pre-coloured and 1 black & white for you to colour) perfect for all sorts of different occasions.

Its a simple A7 or 5" x 7" card with one
of the papers from the kit to mat and layer onto the card with turquoise card.

I resized the digital image, flipped it through 180 and then printed it out onto alcohol marker friendly cardstock adding one of the wonderful sentiments into the top corner before colouring with my Promarkers (see below for colours), coordinating with the bold striped paper I had chosen.

To hide the word on the seed sack I simply cut a couple of patches from one of the leftover papers from the previous card and adhered these to the card adding some stitching details. I blended a little blue distress ink around the design to help draw the eye in.

The finishing touches were little highlights of white pen and gold sparkle pen on the image and I added a scattering of teal confetti around the design.  Such a different card I think using the same digital image.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from for Polkadoodles.

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely day !

Today I'm here to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog challenge and I hope that you will join in.

This weeks challenge theme of 'Spots / Stripes' has been chosen by Elaine for team 2 and is being sponsored by Beccy's Place

For my card today I chose to use a fun digital image of a scruffy pup from the Ruff Day collection of stamps - this is Scaramanda however I'm calling her River - she is the spitting image of the puppy that we rescued a few months back from the river here in our village.  River now lives with our friends and is a very lucky girl and not so small now either.

This is a simple portrait card A7 or 5" x 7" card. The image was  resized to suit the card and printed out along with one of the digital sentiments from the collection onto alcohol friendly card stock.

coloured the puppy with my Promarkers, using a photo of River as a reference.  The image was then mat and layered onto burgundy card with a layer of spotty and striped paper to tie in with the challenge theme.

Once finished I used pencils and a white gelly roll pen to add some highlights and a few rhinestones dotted around the design.

I hope that you join in with the challenge as there is a prize from the sponsor for our lucky winner!

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

Autumn /Fall card - Freddy Fox - Winter Latte Freddy - Digi Choosday with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday. It's still the middle of Summer here and I hope that you Summer weather is treating you ok too....I hate to say it but Autumn won't be that far away now.

I think as crafters sometimes we are chasing the next season but I suppose it takes time for us to make cards....

It's that time of the week when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create an Autumn of Fall themed card
.

The colours on the mountain sides and in the forests are stunning in the Autumn here so I thought that today I would share a card using the Freddy Fox release.

This is a pop up frame card that I've made using the gorgeous digital stamp Winter Latte

The pop up frame cards are probably my favourite style and this is a 6" x 6" card.  They are really easy to make and there are some fabulous instructions by Jennifer McGuire if you would like to give it a go.

Once you've made one, its really easy to alter the dimensions to suit the card size that you want to create.

There is a great tutorial on YouTube tutorial by Jennifer McGuire, showing how to make these make a popup up frame cards.   If you haven't seen the video here is the link.

I planned on cutting out the centre of the  wreath design and then popping up my focal image in the centre of the card panel, using a small card pop up element. Basically a strip of card that is folded and adhered to the card that pops up but folds flat too.

I decided to create a floral wreath for my frame so started by adding elements from the ephemera bundle to create a wreath shape onto one of the gorgeous papers from the collection in my graphics software, before printing this out, I copied  some of the flower elements so I could fussy cut these out for my design.

I coloured the Freddy Fox image using Promarkers and then fussy cut him out mounting him in the centre of the aperture.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from for Polkadoodles.
