Hello and a very happy and healthy New Year to you all !
I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and if you celebrate New Year that you had loads of fun too.
Christmas is still in full flow here in Spain and the decorations will stay up as we await the arrival of the Three Kings, it's important for the Christmas lights to remain on to light their way !
Epiphany on the 6th January - is the Spanish Christmas Day, when the Three Kings shower gifts on children rather than Santa Claus. There is usually a procession in the town on the 5th as the Three Kings arrive distributing sweets and toys at midnight, then families will celebrate together on the 6th which is El Día de los Reyes Magos.
Today I'm here to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog challenge.
This weeks challenge theme of 'New Beginnings' has been chosen by our lovely Linda for team 2 and being sponsored by Uniko
I chose to use a beautiful digital image by one of my favourite artists Krista Leigh Smith called 'Repotting' and I thought this was perfect for the theme.
It's a simple A6 size card, the image has been coloured with my Promarkers and I've added a digital sentiment to the bottom of the design before die cutting out with an arched die.
The card blank was covered with some spring papers from my collection and I added a thin strip of pale green glitter card for a little sparkle.
I gently blended a couple of distress inks over the arch background and mounted the panel on card offcuts.
I hope that you join in with the challenge as there is a prize from the sponsor for our winner!
I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

I love these humourous sentiments and you have used this so well in this pretty scene.
