Just for You - Bumble Buzz Collection with Julia McNeill Designs

Hello everyone wishing you all a wonderful Monday, I hope that you had a lovely Easter weekend and maybe a little sunshine.

We've had loads of lovely rain which has changed quite a few plans over the weekend but its so welcome and very needed too.

I'm here today to share another project for JMC Designs using the gorgeous new Bumble Buzz Digital Collection, which is available to purchase in the online store.

It's a huge digital collection contains: 15 Digital Stamps, 15 Pre Coloured Digital Stamps, 6 Ephemera Sheets, 5 Topper Sheets, 4 Sentiment Sheets and 23 papers full of fabulous little bees and flowers.

For my card today I've used the pre-coloured ephemera sheets Bumble Buzz Digital collection to create a floating frame style card.  It's such an easy card to construct and I think shows how pretty the ephemera is from the collection, just on its own with a simple sentiment.

To create the card I printed off the flower sheet and the leaf sheet and then fussy cut out some of the images, if your cutting isn't great don't worry as you can use a pen to outline the edge of the image when you are finished and no-one will ever know.

This is an 5" x 7" card with a layer of dark grey card and then a layer or upcycled biscuit wrapper. I like to upcycle and I love the texture the layer of corrugated card gives to the design.  the sentiment also from the collection was simply cut and layered using the dark grey card.

Once all the flower elements were cut out I have then adhered them to the panel using foam squares for dimension, allowing some elements to overhang the card.

Once I was happy I flipped the panel over and then cut off any surplus from the edges before adhering the panel to my card blank.

To complete my design I added rose gold confetti around the design for sparkle.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

All About the Snow - Magic is in the Air - White on White Winter card

Hello everyone I hope you are having a lovely Sunday.....

I've had a few bit and pieces from other card projects on my desk for a few weeks and I thought today it was about time to use them or throw them away so here is a super sparkly Winter snowflake card.

There are a couple of challenges that I have seen too, one to make a white on white card and the other to feature snow so that was the inspiration for this card.

I love the look of monochromatic cards especially using white and it was an opportunity to use up some white glitter card scraps - too good to throw away.

The sparkly snowflakes have been die cut from white glitter card and white glitter craft foam.

The background layer is a piece of upcycled biscuit packaging that I have embossed using a snowflake folder.

I love the effect of the corrugated card with the embossing

To finish off the snowflakes on the design I've die cut some flower centres and then added clear iridescent sequins.

The sentiment is a simple strip sentiment that I've mounted onto card strips for extra dimension.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next card I share on my blog.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

My New Stamp - AALL & Create #732 - Heart Medley by Tracy Evans

Hello everyone I hope that you have had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend ahead.

Its been really cold here this week and I have struggled to get warm, even with about 5 layers of clothes on

Today I have something different to share you you!  I think this would be perfect for a Valentines or anniversary card or to send just because.

I treated myself to a goody box over Christmas with lots of lovely new stamps and stencils and I thought I would just create something pretty.

I always seem to have a specific project or card to make and don't sit and just play as much as i used to so it was nice to have a day when I could just play, with nothing particular in mind.

This is what I have created.  There are lots of layers to this DL card and I love all the different textures.

There's even a layer of upcycled corrugated packaging (from a packet of biscuits)

I stamped the design in black ink and put this aside to dry whilst I re-stamped the image in a deep cherry ink.

The center rings and the hearts around the design were fussy cut out and layered back onto the black ink panel once it was completely dry.

I added a little gold gilding wax around the edge of the design and some fine jute threads under the fussy cut rings which were mounted on foam tape for dimension.

To finish off my card I used a white and gold gel pen to add highlights around the image and adhered black gems to some of the hearts.

Card recipe:

AALL  & Create Stamp -  # 732 Heart Medley
AALL & Create Washi Tape - #6 - Crafty
Versafine ink - Onyx Black
Adirondack Ink Earthtones - Cranberry
Pebeo Gilding Wax - Empire Gold
Jute
Pretty Pink Posh Gems - Midnight Black
Sakura Gelly roll pen - black, white, gold, clear star

Just Wanted to Say with JMC Designs

Hello everyone Happy Monday I hope that your first week of the New Year went well.

Christmas has now finished here in Spain, our decorations have been put away and everyone is back to work/school today as normality returns - well until the next Fiesta/celebration which is just around the corner (San Sebastian on the 20th January, the Patron Saint of our town)

It's time for me to post another project for JMC Designs

I had loads of fun creating today's card using a digital stamp from the Cocktail Divas collection (I'm sorry but this wonderful collection is sadly no longer available to buy).  This is Melody Mojito (my favourite Summer Cocktail!)

I created the background panel using one of my kitchen roll mop up sheets, adhered to a piece of thin card before die cutting out.

For extra texture I tore the bottom off the panel to expose the cardstock underneath.

I used a black fine liner pen and my new watercolour paints to add extra  doodles and details to the background.

Once I was happy with the overall look I mounted this onto a panel of dark blue card, adding a small strip of recycled packaging to the bottom.

The digital image was resized to suit my card and I also resized extra wedges of lime images, colouring these with my promarkers (see below for colours)

Once coloured these were fussy cut out and then layered onto my card, some adhered flat and some mounted on foam tape for dimension.

A simple sentiment was added to finish off my card.

It's a super sparkly card and perfect to send to someone special just to say how wonderful they are.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Back at the beach with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone wishing you all a wonderful Saturday !

This Summer has been a very hot one but it seems to have absolutely flown by this year and its been wonderful to have visitors once again over the Summer - lots of fun in the pool, loads of food and drink and lovely company.

But I'm not quite ready to pack away my Summer themed craft goodies just yet so today I am sharing my latest DT make for Last minute Manda.

For this card I was inspired by a recent YouTube video by the wonderful designer Cathy Zielski.

I sadly don't have her stamps but loved the layout and the floating panel design so here is my take on it.

I used digital stamps from the Backyard Beach Party collection

I have coloured the images for my card with my Promarkers (see below for colours) and these have been hand cut and then mounted onto my very simple sandy background which is an upcycled piece of corrugated biscuit packaging that I have coloured using Distress Oxide.

The simple sentiment strip is from Lisa Horton Crafts and my sequins are from Craft Consortium.

I hope that you like my card today ๐ŸŒž
