Best Witches - Halloween card - Cute Halloween Bundle - with Lili of the Valley LOTV

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Saturday......The weeks are absolutely flying past...till soon be you know what ! Today is a special day for us as we moved here from the UK permanently 8 years ago and its been the best thing ever.  It was a big step retiring early from our jobs and upping sticks, but perfectly planned and we haven't looked back...my only regret is not being able to do it sooner x

We are off to Granada for the day, a spot of wandering around the city and lunch is booked at a new (to us) restaurant overlooking the Alhambra.  We visit the city at least once a month as its only 40 minutes drive away and it's my favourite place to visit - no matter how often we go there is always more to see and more culture to soak up.

It's time to share another cutie for Lili of the Valley (LOTV)  using their latest  Cute Halloween bundle featuring 35 very cute Ghosties, ghoulies and witches, definitely everything you need to create some fantastic Halloween projects.

The huge bundle is now available in the Etsy shop and don't miss out on the fabulous sale price (Ends very soon !)

For todays card I've used one of the cute little witches from the bundle, zooming around on her broomstick.

I resized her to fit my A6 card and then printed out, colouring with promarkers before fussy cutting out....I also printed out a fabulous spooky sentiment too.

I chose one of the papers from the Cosmic paper bundle and used this for my card, die cutting an aperture through which I used the stencil to add the moon directly onto the card base.

The sentiment was die cut and I blended a little purple and blue ink to that it blended in with the card design.

Finishing touches were some clear sparkle for her outfit, white gel pen highlights and sparkly confetti around the design.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share for Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

A Pocket Hug - Flower Pockets - with Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Thursday....All back to normal now after our trip to Mallorca and my aim is to get my blog out most days over the Summer but you know what its like - things happen !

We have some friends coming tomorrow for lunch and then drinks and tapas in town so today were busy getting the garden tidied - we had a few heavy downpours yesterday so currently trying to dry things out.

I'm here today with a pretty floral pocket card for Lili of the Valley (LOTV) featuring one of the images from the gorgeous Flower Pockets stamp set - some of you may have got this in Polymer Stamp for but I'm so happy that its now also available as a digital set of stamps - I think digital stamps are so versatile as they can resized and manipulated so easily for your card design. The digital set is available now from the Etsy shop

My sweet card today features one of the little pockets and I have decoupaged some of the flowers for extra dimension.

The design was printed onto alcohol marker friendly cardstock and printed out before colouring with promarkers and fussy cutting out the extra layers.  To build the card I have used a watercolour style paper with a diamond aperture in the centre and some dark navy card to define the layers.

The little sentiment on the pocket is also from the set.  To finish off the card just a few clear iridescent sequins around the design.

I also made a similar card with the same set of stamps, simply using the flowers and a sentiment without the pocket, but completely forgot to add it to my blog so here it is just in case you haven't seen it.

It just shows how versatile this set is !

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday... I hope that you are having a good week....

Our challenges our now 4 weekly so there's loads of time for you to join in and more chances to win too!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create a Mermaid themed card.

I decided to use an image from the Winnie Mermazing collection - this is Collecting shells to create a pretty 5" x7" or A7 card.

I chose one of the papers from the collection to layer onto my card cutting out two circular apertures, one for a sentiment and another for the sweet dolphins (coloured with promarkers) which is from the Coral Mermaid collection.  I used teal foil for the sentiment and then adhered these onto the card base under the circular apertures.

The main image was resized along with a number of seashells before printing out and colouring in with promarkers and fussy cutting out, layering at the bottom of my card panel.

To finish off my project I added some clear sparkle pen to the shells and her tail and teal confetti  around the design.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles.

Pumpkin Spice and All Things Nice - GDT Autumn Spice Card with JMC Designs

Hello everyone   hope that you have are having lovely day today.

Its Monday so that means time for me to post another project on the Guest Design Team for JMC Designs

Today I'm here to share an aperture card that I've made using one of the gorgeous girls from the digital Autumn Allspice Collection  This gorgeous girl is Pumpkin Spice.

The extra pumpkins and the sentiment are also from the Autumn Allspice Collection

It's a 6" x 6" card with lots of layers of Kraft card and orange mulberry paper and an aperture

For the background of the card, I have used some gorgeous orange mulberry paper from my crafty hoard - its really pretty as it has orange and blue fibres embedded within it - so I decided to use this as my colour palette.  I added extra splashes of blue metallic, gold and orange watercolour paint to the mulberry paper.
I used several nesting circle dies to cut out the aperture and the different circles for my card.

Once the main image and the pumpkins were coloured in with my Promarkers (see below for the colours), I fussy cut them out and adhered them to my card.

I blended a little distress ink over the sentiment, added some doodling around the edge of the card and then finished off with some orange sparkly sequins.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

A Passion for Markers BlogSpot Challenge #703 - Let's Celebrate

Hello and a happy Tuesday to you all I hope that you have a lovely week ahead!

I'm here today to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by All Dressed Up

The theme this week chosen by Karen for Team 2 is Let's Celebrate! and I chose to use the image Birthday Monkey

Today's card is a 5" x 7" and I decided to create an aperture for my monkey to hang in.

I've used a couple of stencils with distress inks to create a cloudy sky behind the monkey and a beautiful leafy stencil to represent the trees in the foreground.

I resized the monkey image to suit the size of my aperture which I created using a couple of oval dies and a co-ordinating green cardstock.  The image was coloured with my Promarkers (see below for colours) before fussy cutting out and adding into the aperture using foam tape for dimension.

The digital image includes a sentiment which I have added to the design but I have also stamped a couple of additional sentiments onto the panel and added some coordinating sequins.

Don't forget there will be a prize for the Winner of the challenge - there are more details over on the Passion for Markers blog.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

Happy Friday everyone I hope that you are all well and have had a lovely week.

It's our Easter celebrations here and today so were off on a walk organised by the town walking group, we have done it every Good Friday for the last 5 years and its a lovely walk specially when there are lots of people to support it.  The walk finishes off in the Carpa - its a big marquis that is set up for a Food and crafts fair called Hecho en Las Alpujarras.  Its a great opportunity to try out different artisan foods and always well supported.

Today also marks the start of a new Challenge for March over on the Pattie's Creations Design Challenge blog

The challenge runs from the first Friday of the month and its an Anything Goes challenge as long as you use a digital or stamped image in your project,  so why not join in the challenge - Winners of the challenge will receive 2 digital stamps of your choice from Pattie's shop.

Pattie has some wonderful digital stamps in her Etsy Shop pattiescreations and there is also a freebie every month on the blog that you can use in your project if you want to!

For my April project, I decided to use the Owl on Branch digital stamp called Hootie ....you know I'm rather fond of owls and this one is lovely.

I've created an aperture card today, adding some lovely leafy paper to a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" panel before cutting out an aperture with one of my nesting circle dies.

Before adding the leafy panel to my card base I've used some distress ink and a cloud stencil to add some clouds to my card base behind the aperture and then mounted this panel using craft foam.

Hootie has been printed on alcohol friendly card stock and coloured with my Promarkers (see below for the colours), before being fussy cut out and adhered across the aperture.

I stamped a sentiment onto the leaf panel and then added some coordinating sequins around the design and glossy accents to the owls eyes.

I do hope that you like my card for today and don't forget to join in with this months challenge over on the blog.

New Release - Spring into Easter - Chocolate Time Chick with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone wishing you a very happy Tuesday and I hope that you are all enjoying the week and looking forward to the Easter weekend.

It's that time again when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is Easter so I chose to use one of the sweet little Chicks from the latest collection called Spring into Easter for my card today.

This naughty little chick is called Chocolate Time Chick - isn't he naughty eating all that chocolate and blaming it on poor Bunny!

I've used a couple of the papers from the new collection from set 2 and set 3 to create a background for my sweet chick adding a cheeky sentiment from the Spring into Easter Messages bundle to the striped background before printing it out.

I decided to make a fun shaker card so die cut an oval from this striped panel - to look like an egg and added yellow and pink sequins into my shaker element.  I like to adhere some of the sequins to the background card, this make sure that there are always sequins in view in the window when the card is stood up for display.

This collection is packed with cute little chicks that I think are perfect for loads of different Spring occasions and not just for Easter cards and I'm sure that you are going to love them.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from this cute new Easter / Spring collection

Have a Beautiful Day with Pink Gem Designs

Hello everyone wishing you all a happy Friday .

Today I am sharing the second DT card that I have made for for Pink Gem Designs using a digital stamp from the Magnolias digital stamp set .

Its a fabulous set and includes 23 black Line art images, there are loads of possibilities with this set and for today I have chosen to use one of the flower circle cluster stamps for my card.

I've started by resizing the image to suit a 6" x 6" card and used one of my circle dies to cut an aperture then I have blended ink around the edges of the panel and then splattered this with Lisa Horton Crafts metallic watercolour.

The flower cluster was coloured with my Promarkers (see below for colours) and then fussy cut out leaving no white edge . Normally I like to leave a white border around my images but I wanted something a little different today.

I think that you all know how much I love bold and bright colours so for this card I have chosen some beautiful striped paper  from Polkadoodles from the Love birds Wings of Love collection to add to the bottom of my card panel and then used a circular die to cut out my aperture.

The panel has then been layered onto my base card with a black satin cardstock and I then a sentiment die cut was added.

My magnolias were then adhered flat to the card and a few coordinating sequins scattered around the design.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !
