Happy Anniversary - Wings of Love - Love Bird Heart Bunting with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone - Happy Sunday I hope that you are all well....Its our 21st Wedding Anniversary today and whilst we don't really send each other cards since we moved to Spain as they don't have card shops here like in the UK and it would be weird making one for John to give to me, I thought I would share a sweet Anniversary card today to celebrate.

I thought id share an Anniversary card made using the Wings of Love collection from Polkadoodles. 

I've made a faux stepper card and decorated this with papers from the Wings of Love collection. 

The sweet little love birds have been coloured with Promarkers and I used the papers to inspire my colour palette.

This collection is packed with cute little birds that I think are perfect for loads of different occasions, Valentines, Weddings, Anniversary, birthdays and for any occasion where you just want to sent a little love to someone special.

Love Birds Wings of Love - Skateboard Valentine with Polkadoodles

 Hello everyone I hope that you are all well and enjoying your Sunday!

The town Feria finishes today and I have to say its been wonderful to watch the processions, very moving and emotional.....we didn't manage to stay out very late but that's no surprise not being party animals...

Later today we are going to one of our favourite restaurants on the coast - taking friends out for a meal to say thank you for everything they do for us ad to celebrate John's birthday with them too.

My card today is using the Love Birds Wings of Love collection from Polkadoodles. This collection is packed with cute little birds that I think are perfect for loads of different occasions, Valentines, Weddings, Anniversary, birthdays and for any occasion where you just want to sent a little love to someone special.  

I stared by creating a background panel using one of the Polkadoodles stencils - Funky Vortex Grid and a rainbow of distress inks before, fussy cutting out and mounting my cute skateboarder birdie on low profile foam.  She is coloured with Promarkers (see below for colours used) I wanted it to look like my cool skater birdie is zooming across the panel.

The sentiment is from the new collection and I've printed this towards the bottom of my background panel.

Just a touch of glossy accents added to the hearts to finish off the card.

New Release - Love Birds Wings of Love - Roses with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Saturday.

Brr its been a chilly few days here but there's always lots of sunshine to make you feel warm.... I hope that you are all well and enjoying the week so far.

Today I have a card for you using the digital stamp Love Bird - Rose flowers from the latest Wings of Love digital collection from Polkadoodles....I think this would be another perfect anniversary or wedding card or just for someone special.

Just a simple 5" x 7" card today with the focus on the sweet bird, a simple sentiment and a heart die cut from one of the papers from the new collection.

I decided to off centre my hearts for a bit of interest but add the coloured bird (see below for colours used) to the centre of the card mounted on some low profile foam tape.

Glossy accents were added to the heart and then a scattering of coordinating sequins around the design, help to draw the eye around the card and tie it all together.

You are my Happy Place - Love Birds Wings of Love - Hearts and Roses with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Saturday- I hope that you have all had a good week.

Today I have a card for you using the digital stamp Hearts and Roses from the latest Wings of Love digital collection from Polkadoodles....

Todays card is a 6" x 6" card with an aperture, using two of the beautiful papers from the collection.

I think that this would also be perfect as a shaker card, or a traditional aperture card with a window through to the inside of the card - maybe with a hidden message inside ?

The cute birdie couple have been coloured with promarkers (see below for colours) and then fussy cute out before mounting across the aperture.

New Release - Love Birds Wings of Love - You are my Favourite person - Owl with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone - wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday and happy February....the month of love !💓💓💓

I'm back today with another card using the new Love Birds Wings of Love collection from Polkadoodles. 

You already know how much I love owls and I was so excited when Nikky Hall included some owls in this new digital release... they are my absolute favourite.

The sweet little Owl was coloured with my promarkers and then fussy cut out ready for my card.  Don't forget you can get pre-coloured versions of all of the digital images too, perfect if you don't like colouring or just need a speedy card.

I decided I wanted to create a little scene up in a tree for my sweet owl so started by choosing one of the papers and one of the sentiments from the new collection and added this to my graphics software, along with one of the lovely new sentiments from the collection - I really love how there are so many sentiments in this collection that are perfect for loads of different occasions - not just for Valentines cards. 

The tree and branch is an older digital stamp from Polkadoodles that I've had for a while and I resized this to suit a larger 5" x 7" card, before printing out and colouring with my promarkers.

New Release - Wings of Love - Basket of Hearts with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Wednesday - I hope that you are all well and enjoying the week.

Today I have a card for you using the digital stamp Love Bird - Heart Basket from the latest Wings of Love digital collection from Polkadoodles....I think this would be a perfect anniversary or wedding card or just for someone special. 

I created a simple shaped easel card using my circular dies to create the card base from a coordinating card stock and die cut hearts from coordinating card stock.

I added layers of patterned papers and a simple sentiment from the new collection.

Finishing touches of some burgundy die cut hearts and glossy accents

The completed card folds flat and fits nicely in a standard 6" x 6" envelope

New Release - Wings of Love - Valentine Sign with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone I hope that you are all well and enjoying the week so far!

Today I have my first inspiration card using the new Love Birds - Wings of Love collection .   This image is called Love Bird Love You Sign 

Just a very simple A6 card, the main focus being the little bird with his sign, then  a panel of patterned paper from set 2 at the base of the card and a sentiment taken from the greetings set 

I have blended a little distress oxide ink onto my background panel behind the little bird and added a few clear sequins for a touch of sparkle.
