Digi Choosday - You're sweet like pumpkin pie - Autumn is Here - Fluffy Friends Cute Collection - with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday... I hope that you're having a great week so far and that the weather is being kind to you.  

It's time for the Design Team to share some more inspiration for our current 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog. I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing Digi Choosday discount off all crafty printable downloads!

The theme set for the DT this week by Nikky was Autumn is Here !. I'm not quite ready for Autumn yet but I am definitely longing for the cooler days and nights.

For my Autumn card today I decided to use one of the sweet images from the recent Fluffy Friends collection.

It's a simple A7 card base using a couple of more autumnal papers from the collection and layers of a rusty coloured card stock for the matt layer and the arch behind the fluffy friends

I have used the very sweet Monty bear and Rusty fox digital stamp colouring with promarkers to match the pretty papers and fussy cutting out by hand

I decided to add a couple of mushrooms from the Spring is Here SVG, adding a little brown distress ink to these for shading and a also a large blue butterfly from one of the papers in the collection.  I think the mushrooms give the card the autumnal feel along with Rusty fox and the coordinating rust coloured card.
 

The sentiment has been taken from the Freddy Fox collection and I added a little cross stitched border for a little texture.

Finishing touches were a few coffee coloured pieces of confetti and some white gelly roll pen highlights around the design.
