Sending lots of Christmas Cheer - Freebie Digital image - Winter Snail - with Julia McNeil Designs

Hello everyone Happy Tuesday !

I hope you are enjoying the week so far.

I thought today I  would share a cute little Christmas card that I have made using the Freebie digital stamp for December by JMC Designs .  If you haven't seen it yet then don't worry here is the link to download the digital stamp.

https://mailchi.mp/5974ab4aaf01/jmcfreedigiwintersnail

As well as the freebie, there is also a video to watch that shows how the digital stamp evolved - here is the link

I added a Christmas sentiment to the bottom of the image before printing out and colouring with my Promarkers and then fussy cutting out, leaving a snowy bank of card at the bottom of the design.

Next I created my Wintery background, blending distress oxide inks to create a Winter Alpine scene with mountains, fir trees and lots of snow

Finishing touches were some glitter to the snails ear muffs and his spots.

I do hope that you like my card for today and I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment.

We would love to see what you make with this cute little winter snail so why not get creating and then upload it to the Facebook page JMCs Crazy Crafty Hive

New Release - Winter Birthday - Festive & Christmas cards - Mabel collection with Polkadoodles

Hello and happy Sunday everyone... Were off out today for a Christmas lunch with the walking group, it's going to be extremely noisy but good food and fun too.  Great for practising our Spanish too.

I'm sure that by now you have seen the brand new release by Polkadoodles, such a cute collection.

The Mabel Collection is a heart-warming range of cute girl character printables designed for card makers, planner lovers and creative crafters.

The collection includes digital stamps, pre-coloured clipart, SVG cutting files, digital papers, sentiments and big-value bundles that are perfect for Christmas holiday cards, New Year celebrations, winter birthdays and year-round celebrations.

Whether you prefer colouring black-and-white digi stamps or using ready-to-go pre-coloured images, these designs are ideal for making thoughtful handmade cards, printable craft stickers, planner stickers, junk journals, scrapbook pages, party dΓ©cor and small-business craft makes.

There are 5 mini collections for you to choose from  Woodland Winter, Festive Wishes, Starry Celebrations, Cosy Cocoa and Pawsitively Festive but I definitely couldn't choose a favourite.

This is my second card using the new release but as always there's loads more inspiration for you in the gallery on the Polkadoodles website

My Christmas card today uses the Festive Wishes collection.  I coloured Mabel with my Promarkers before die cutting the panel with an arched die.

The card fits a standard 6" x 6" envelope and I've used a couple of the pretty papers from the bundle to layer onto the card and one of the sentiments

The finishing touches for the card was lots of extra sparkle to Mabel, white highlights to the image and some die cut snowflakes in red and gold to coordinate with the papers.

I hope that you like my projects today and you'll enjoy the next that I share from Polkadoodles.

Happy Halloween

Ho Ho Ho - Juggling Penguins with Lili of the Valley

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Friday I hope you have had a great week and have a wonderful weekend planned.

I’m back adding to my Penguin obsession with another card for Lili of the Valley….. these happy friends look like they’re having loads of fun.

This image is called Juggling Penguins, coloured with Promarkers and a distress ink background

I've added the sentiment from the Cute Christmas sentiments to the bottom of the cute over the edge image before printing out and colouring with promarkers and fussy cutting out, leaving the snow bank at the bottom of the design.

To create the background panel I blended distress inks from purple up to blue and then used a stencil over the top of this to add a little texture.  I splattered a little water and then once dry splattered the panel with white gesso.  Once completely dry the snowman and penguins were adhered to the coloured panel with foam tape

Finishing touches were some clear sparkle to the hats and ear muffs and snow on the ground.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share for Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

My card today uses Theo Just for You resized  and coloured with promarkers before fussy cutting out....I wanted to create a simple card for today so chose a spotty paper for the bottom of the card and then added some stencilling to the top of the card with red distress ink.

I added some red metallic splatter across the panel and adhered the birthday sentiment strip with a fine border of silver metallic card.

to finish the card I added some silver confetti and a small strip of colourful bunting.

A Passion for Markers Blog Spot Challenge #817 - Add some bling - Sponsored by Clearly Besotted

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely day - I hope that week is going well for you.  I'm slowly getting back into the rhythm of blogging again - not sure why its so hard at the moment - even though we have finished the olives there is still so much to do everyday.  Just all the Winter jobs on the campo !

There's a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog challenge and I hope that you will join in.

This weeks challenge theme of 'Add some bling' has been chosen by Elaine for team 2 and is being sponsored by Clearly Besotted

The perfect theme for all those Winter celebration and Christmas cards don't you think

For my card today I decided to create a snowy scene for a couple of very cute penguins - they look like they are having loads of fun sliding down the snowy slopes.

I chose one of the fabulous pre-coloured winter backgrounds for my 5" x7" card matting this with silver card.  Next I die cute some super sparkly snowy slopes from silver glitter card, layering these onto the bottom of the card.

I die cut a couple of Christmas trees using one of the green papers from the collection adding these to the scene.

Next, I resized the Snow Day image to suite my design colouring with promarkers before fussy cutting out and adding to the scene.

This image just makes me smile - it's so cute !

The finishing touches were some white gelly roll pen highlights on the penguins and then some extra bling teal and clear sequins.

Its definitely a card packed with bling !

I hope that you join in with the challenge as there is a prize from the sponsor for our lucky winner!

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog
