I love Promarkers #558 - New Home card sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps

Here is my inspiration card for the current blog challenge with the theme - New Home, using the wonderful feet up and a cuppa digital stamp.  I saw this stamp and it reminded me how tiring moving house can be and I thought it would be a great cheeky card for someone that's just moved house - we all know what its like unpacking those boxes - exhausting!  When we moved from the UK to Spain I think we had unopened boxes around for at least 6 months.

Todays card as a standard A6 card with a background layer of designer paper. The floorboards are coloured with promarkers.  

For the main image I resized this to suit my card and then coloured using Promarkers (see below for colours), before fussy cutting out.

The packing boxes are simply recycled card board with a little brown ink around the edges. The labels are just sticky labels with a little scribbly writing on them.

I hope he gets those boxes unpacked soon as his home is looking very bare !

 

I chose two sentiments for my design from Polkadoodles, one printed onto the floor boards and the other printed and fussy cut out.
