Happy Easter - Easter Florals A5 Stamp Set - New Release with Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Monday ....The sun is shining and its definitely feeling like early Summer here after all the rain we have had this month.

I'm here today with an Easter card for Lili of the Valley (LOTV) using one of the images from the gorgeous new Easter Florals A5 Polymer stamp sets which is available now from the Etsy shop

My card today has a more rustic feel about it to coordinate with the folk art style chicken

I stamped the chicken onto Neenah desert storm card stock and then coloured with my Polychromos pencils.

I then used a 3D embossing folder for the frame panel, inking the folder with brown ink before embossing then adding the pale cream and white ink to the raised sections.

I added a few pieces of confetti around the design to finish it off.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hasta luego ðŸ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Hello everyone Happy Sunday everyone !

I hope that you managed to watch the launch of the  brand New Release of stamps from JMC Designs on Hobby Maker yesterday and that  you have seen some of the fabulous samples created by the design team.

If you want to have a look at this lovely new collection then Julia created a product launch video here for you to take a look or why not head over to the Facebook Group where you will see all the fabulous samples for some inspiration.

The collection will be available to buy from today Sunday 30th March on the JMC website

Here is my next card using stamps from the Peek a bug set which have been stamped and coloured with Promarkers before fussy cutting out.  I created a 6" x 6" 3D scene card.

The piece of card  was 6 1/2" x 6" and then I used a cloud edge die to cut the top of the panel off.  Next I have used distress inks to create clouds and the hills at the bottom before scoring 1" on either side of the panel.  I also cut two 1" x 6 1/2" bridge pieces and adhered them into the card base.

I attached some green die cut grass to the bottom of the panel, a small die cut sunshine and then the coloured mushrooms were then attached to the different layers of the card to create the scene.

Finishing touches were white gelly roll pen highlights and glossy accents to the mushrooms and some gold confetti around the design.

I do hope that you like my card for today and I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment.

Digi Choosday - Easter card - Spring into Easter - Slider card - with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday... I hope that you are having a good week....

It's that time of the week to share some more inspiration for our current 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing Digi Choosday discount off all crafty printable downloads!

Our challenges our now 4 weekly so there's loads of time for you to join in and more chances to win too!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create an Easter Slider card using - You know these are my favourite card styles at the moment I'm sure.

I decided to create a larger A7 5" x 7" card today, creating the card base from a textured yellow card stock.

I chose a couple of the pretty papers from the Spring into Easter collection to layer onto the card base.

Next I resized the cute chick image in my graphics software before printing out, colouring with promarkers and fussy cutting out.

The main image was adhered to the bottom of the pop up panel of the slider mechanism.

Next I die cut the letters to spell Easter from the collection and adhered these flat to the inside of the slider - don't forget anything added here needs to be completely flat or the mechanism will not work properly.

I added a little circle of card to the top of the sliding panel to allow it to be pulled by the recipient.

To finish off my project I added some super sparkly gold confetti around the design and some white gel pen highlights on the image.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles.

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Hey Chick - Farm A5 Stamp Set - New Release with Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Sunday....I hope you are having a lovely weekend....the rain has eased off for a couple of days but we are expecting it to return on Monday but a little time to dry out and get the washing out to dry.

I'm here today with another card project for Lili of the Valley (LOTV) using one of the gorgeous new A5 Polymer stamp sets which is available to pre-order now from the Etsy shop.

My cheerful A7 or 5" x 5" card today is using the cute little chick and barn stamps from the Farm set

I coloured the little chicks and the barn with promarkers before fussy cutting out.

I've used Distress Oxide inks to create my background with a simple hillside stencil (you could cut your own from copier paper!), masking off a border around the edge of the panel before inking.

To add a splash of colour and tie on with the barn and the chicks I die cut little  red tulips to add around the design.

I think this would be perfect for lots of different occasions including Easter or even for a new home card.

Roofas - March Freebie Digital Stamp - with Julia McNeil Designs

Hello everyone Happy Friday! I hope that you've had a great week and the weather has been kind where you are.... We've had loads of lovely rain for the last couple of weeks but hopefully we're getting a few days to dry up a little bit over the weekend.

Today I'm back to share a card for JMC Designs  that I've made using the March freebie digital stamp - this is Roofas .... he is a cute scruffy dog who looks like he might be very naughty !

Every month Julia McNeill very generously gives away a fabulous digital stamp, which is available to everyone in her Facebook group JMC's Crazy Crafty Hive and also to her followers via Instagram, all you need is to use your email address to register for the stamp.

Here is the link to register and download this months digital stamp.

If you have missed any of the previous freebies then Julia has kindly put together a list of them all with the links for each so you can download them and don't forget to share your projects in the group as we would love to see them.  Here is the full list of the freebies

To create my more simpler masculine card for today today I've used some blue striped paper and navy card to give a cleaner simpler look.

I coloured Roofas with my Promarkers and finished off with Polychromos for added furry texture.  The doggy sentiment was added to the bottom of the panel along with some extra paw prints before printing out and adding to the card base.

The finishing touches were some simple white highlights around the image.

I do hope that you like my card for today and I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment.

Digi Choosday - Flowers - Orange - Darling Buds with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday... I hope that you are having a good week....

It's that time of the week to share some more inspiration for our current 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing Digi Choosday discount off all crafty printable downloads!

Our challenges our now 4 weekly so there's loads of time for you to join in and more chances to win too!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create a project/card using flowers and the colour orange......not a colour I naturally turn to but I do love how vibrant it is...perfect to get us in the mood for warmer weather.

I decided to create a larger A7 5" x 7" card today.  I chose one of the wonderful papers from the Freddy Fox collection and in my graphics software I colourized this turning the flowers orange before printing out.  I also chose a sentiment from the Darling Buds collection and added this to some teal paper and printed this also along with the pre-coloured Marigold - I love how vibrant she is.

I die cut a circle, offset from the floral paper and layered this over the teal paper adding an orange frame to the circle.  Next I used my Polychromos pencils adding lots of orange to the image to make it more vibrant and then fussy cut her out before adding over the card with foam tape for dimension.

To finish off my project I added some super sparkly glitter to some of the flowers and some orange gems around the design.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles.
