Digi Choosday - Easter card - Spring into Easter - Slider card - with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday... I hope that you are having a good week....

It's that time of the week to share some more inspiration for our current 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing Digi Choosday discount off all crafty printable downloads!

Our challenges our now 4 weekly so there's loads of time for you to join in and more chances to win too!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create an Easter Slider card using - You know these are my favourite card styles at the moment I'm sure.

I decided to create a larger A7 5" x 7" card today, creating the card base from a textured yellow card stock.

I chose a couple of the pretty papers from the Spring into Easter collection to layer onto the card base.

Next I resized the cute chick image in my graphics software before printing out, colouring with promarkers and fussy cutting out.

The main image was adhered to the bottom of the pop up panel of the slider mechanism.

Next I die cut the letters to spell Easter from the collection and adhered these flat to the inside of the slider - don't forget anything added here needs to be completely flat or the mechanism will not work properly.

I added a little circle of card to the top of the sliding panel to allow it to be pulled by the recipient.

To finish off my project I added some super sparkly gold confetti around the design and some white gel pen highlights on the image.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles.

Hasta luego ðŸ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

New Release - Party Time - Flower Birthday Cake with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Thursday everyone.... I hope that you are having a good week....

There's a brand new release over at Polkadoodles and I think you are going to love it!

It's the brand new Party Time Collection!  bursting with cute critters, festive celebration cakes, balloons, and birthday fun.

There are pre-colored digital stamps, clipart, and party-themed printables and it’s perfect for card making, scrapbooking and other paper crafting projects. Whether you’re making birthday cards, party invitations, or memory books, this collection brings cheerful vibes to every creation.

Don't miss out on the 35% discount currently available and if you are a VIP you will have received a code in your VIP email for 50% discount.

My first card made using this collection is a cute A6 pop up slider card and I've chosen to use fresh spring like colour palette to coordinate with the pretty papers and sentiments in the collection.

I'm loving this style of interactive card and its so easy to create something very special.

The sweet flower birthday cake was resized and printed onto Neenah Desert Storm card before colouring with promarkers and finishing with Polychromos pencils.  For an extra special touch I have applied gold foil to the main image and also to one of the sentiments.

I fussy cut the birthday cake by hand and adhered it to my card front along with a peice of pretty paper from the collection.
For the secret message inside the pop up mechanism I have printed  out another paper from the set adding a couple of the sentiments from the set at the bottom so when you pull the tab at the top, the full message is revealed.

To finish off my project I added some teal coloured confetti around the design and added the PULL letters onto the tab at the top.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles.
