Back to Basics - Christmas Hammock Fold Card - Use my Stash - Craftwork Cards - Frozen Forest Collection

Hello everyone wishing you all a wonderful Friday - We've still got very wintery weather, loads of rain and wind and it's so cold  too!

It's probably our first proper Winter since we moved here just over 8 years ago and the wood pile is dwindling fast - fingers crossed we have enough to see us through the cold.

I've already mentioned that one of my crafty goals this year is to use my stash so I have dug out one of my Craftwork Cards collections....Yes I  know its a Christmas collection but its seemed appropriate with the cold weather and all the snow on the mountains.

This A6 Hammock Fold card has been made using the Frozen Forest collection.

I really liked this style of card from a week or so ago so I made another - LOL

For the base card I used two pieces of pale blue cardstock measuring 12" x 6" and 9" x 4"

The larger piece was scored at 2", 4", 8" & 10" and the smaller piece scored at 1 1/2", 3", 6" & 7 1/2"

If you are looking for a tutorial for the hammock fold card then I would recommend reading the one at Beccy's Place as its really clear and easy to follow.

Here is the link for the tutorial

I've used up some of the scraps of paper that I have kept for ages and a couple of the ephemera die cuts that came in the collection to decorate the card.

I thought for this one I would create a Belly Band or wrap style closure and die cut a fancy scalloped frame for  the front panel.

I added a few pieces of blue candi and then coated them with glossy accents so they look like enamel dots and added some sparkly stickles to the front panel with the deer.

Its really simple and a lovely style and easily folds up to fit an A6 size envelope.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !
