New Release - A Little card full of love - circular card - Fluffy Friends collection with Polkadoodles

Hello and happy Monday everyone... I hope that you had a great weekend and are enjoying the weather...its extremely hot here  and I'm finding it quite difficult to keep cool ...hey ho but this week its my birthday and I'm very excited as we are off to Granada on Wednesday...fingers crossed I have a bit more energy for Wednesday as its going to be a long day LOL

I'm sure that you've seen the brand new digital release by Polkadoodles - called Fluffy Friends and you love it as much as I do - I especially love the kitties.

There are loads of adorable images for you to colour or pre-coloured if you prefer.

I decided for today I would share another card using one of the very cute digital stamps. This is Peaches Cat and Nibbles Mouse again coloured as our special boy
Foxy.

He is such a sweet little boy and definitely doesn't like other big male cats that appear at the house - he's a very timid boy...not sure he would have a little mouse friend though LOL

It's a circular card that I have created with layers of teal card and papers from the collection and a sweet little sentiment.

The finishing touches for the card were sparkly sequins and white gelly roll pen highlights.

I hope that you like my projects today and you'll enjoy the next that I share from Polkadoodles.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Hello and a happy Tuesday to you all I hope that you are having a lovely week !

The weather has been wonderful so far, lovely and hot during the day but not too hot at night - so far LOL.

We are busy preparing the house for my cousin and her husband arriving on Thursday and Im really looking forward to seeing her again - we have loads to catch up on.

We have lots of days planned, lots of meals and drinking and obviously chilling by the pool too.  Im hoping to persuade her to come to Yoga with me too on Friday.

I'm here today to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog.

This weeks challenge is sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps and the theme this week is Favourite colour combination. - I find this really difficult as I have lots of colour combinations that I love and it all depends on how I feel at them time but for today as the bees are busy in the garden I chose to Pink, Green and lemon for my card today.

It's a simple circular card made using one of the gorgeous images from the Buzzy Bee collection by Polkadoodles.  This is Buzzy Talk, coloured with my promarkers.

The circular card was die cut from yellow card stock and I used a layer of paper from the collection as my base layer.

To finish off my fun Buzzy Bee card I added sequins around the design, lots of sparkle and lots of glossy accents to the little bees.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

Digi Choosday - Perfect Peony - with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday... I hope that you are having a good week....

It's that time of the week to share some more inspiration for our current 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing Digi Choosday discount off all crafty printable downloads!

Our challenges our now 4 weekly so there's loads of time for you to join in and more chances to win too!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create a thank you card but not a square or a rectangle.

So I chose to create a circular rocker style card - these are so simple to make and really effective too.  The finished card fits a standard 6" x 6" envelope, so perfect to pop in the post.

I created the base of my card, die cutting  a fancy edged circle from pink card stock and then folding this in half, scoring and burnishing.

I decided for my main image to use the beautiful pre-coloured Perfect Peony digi deal, resizing this to fit my card before printing out 3 times.  I chose a sentiment from the Honey pie Just Lovely greeting bundle and added this to my base layer. These images are perfect when you don't have much time but want to make a beautiful but quick card.

I used a torn edge die to cut out the base image and then fussy cut out extra flowers, decoupaging with foam for dimension.

To finish off my project I added some ultrafine flower soft to the centre of the flowers and some confetti around the design.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

New Release - Stamps - Happy Christmas with Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Monday.... I hope you had a great weekend....The sun is still shining here and its lovely being outside working in the garden but its getting cooler at night and I'm going to get our first fire ready today - just in case!

It's supposed to get a lot cooler over the next few days and possibly a little rain too so better to be prepared.

I'm so excited today to share my first project as a design team member for Lili of the Valley (LOTV) and such perfect timing as there is a new set of polymer stamps being launched today.

It's so so cute and perfect for your Christmas makes and very easy to colour too!

This A5 stamps set is called Happy Christmas and I know you will love it.

For my first card I decided to create a circular card using nested dies, creating my card base first... it fits neatly into a 6" x 6" envelope.

I used a small circle of post it note to create my little moon and then used distress inks to create my sky to start with adding snow with a posca pen one the ink was dry.

next I stamped out the images for my little scene onto alcohol marker friendly card, colouring them with my promarkers (see below for colours) before fussy cutting them out by hand.

To create my scene I die cut two extra circle and die cut a wavy stitched edge to create two snow banks, adhering these to my circular card using foam tape to add dimension.

I then created my scene, adding the stamped images, some flat to the card and others adhered using foal tape to add dimension to the card.

The finishing touches were then added, glossy accents to Rudolph's nose and the baubles on the tree and lots of sparkly glitter to the trees and the snow.

Flowers - No Pink- circular Easel Card - Butterfly Flowerpots - Digi Choosday - Be Simply Beautiful with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday.  I hope that you have a lovely day today and that you enjoy your week ahead...

It's that time of the week when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create a card with flowers but to use no pink!

I started off by creating a circular easel card with a deep purple card stock and then used one of the gorgeous blue papers from the Helga Hippo collection to mat and layer onto the bottom of the easel.

Next I resized the beautiful Butterfly Flowerpots image to fit the easel and then printed this out onto alcohol friendly card stock.

I coloured the image with promarkers to match the purple card and blue paper and then used one of the dies to cut out the panel.  I blended a little blue distress ink around the edge of the panel and then adhered it to my easel card.

The sentiment from the Lilybug collection was printed out onto card, layered on to the same purple card and then adhered to act as the stopper for the easel so it stands up.

For extra detail I printed out two of the pre-coloured butterflies from the Helga Hippo ephemera bundle, fussy cutting these out and adhered to the card so that the wings are lifted off the design.

Finishing touches where some shiny teal confetti and white gel pen highlights.

I hope that you like my card today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles

Sending Festive Hugs with AmandaJayneDesigns

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Friday! I hope that you all had a great week and have a lovely weekend planned.

I'm very excited today to be sharing my first project for Amanda Jayne Designs and as its July and all about crafters making our Christmas cards and Projects, for my first cards I chose to use a super cute penguin coloured printable - called Gift Penguin

I thought that a circular card would be a great shape with this image so used my circular dies to create a round card base and then used the smaller dies to cut out my base layer of the image which I have added to the card base.

I added just a touch of distress ink to the sky portion of the design.

Next I fussy cut three extra layers of the design and have added these to the image for extra dimension using foam squares.

Finally I have used glossy accents to the beak and feet and Sparkly glitter over the snow and on the ground beneath the image.

For extra interest  I have chosen one of the papers from the Mint Christmas paper collection and used this to cover the envelope flap and added a circle of the same paper to the inside of the card.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

A Passion for Markers BlogSpot Challenge #697 - A shaped card

Hello and a happy Tuesday to you all ! It feels so good to be able to craft a little bit more, just slowly and being careful not to overdo it...I really missed it.

I'm here today to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Rachelle Anne Miller RAM Stamps

There are loads of sweet digital images by the very talented Rachelle Anne Miller in the on line store...well worth a look.

The theme this week chosen by Nat for Team 2 is to make a shaped card and as July is here already and that means 'Christmas in July' for us crafters, I decided to make a Christmas card....my first for Christmas in July.

I have to say that I don't make many shaped cards but I do love a simple circular card so that's what I chose along with one of the gorgeous new release digital stamps from RAM Stamps called 'Christmas Peace' , coloured with my Promarkers.

Don't forget there will be a prize for the Winner of the challenge - there are more details over on the Passion for Markers blog.

I coloured the sweet image with my promarkers (see below for colours used) and then fussy cut it out carefully  leaving a small white border.  I have used a gold gelly roll pen to outline the letters making them super sparky and added clear sparkle to the little angel.

Next I created my circular card base using dies from Lisa Horton Crafts and some of her lovely navy blue cardstock.  I chose to layer up the card with some pretty wintery papers from Craftwork cards before adding my word using foam squares for extra dimension.

Finally I have used a butterfly die to cut out 3 small butterflies, adding these around the design with small gems for detail.  I added lots of clear sparkle to the image and stickles to the flowers in the grass.

The small sentiment strip above the design is from Lisa Horton Crafts, matted on navy card and foam squares for height.

Finally I have added a little doodling around the circular card edges in gold and a scattered a few pieces of gold confetti around the design.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

I Love Promarkers Blog - #535 - A Circular Card

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! I hope that you are having a lovely week and the weather is being kind to you.

I've scheduled this blog post so fingers crossed it posts ok and looks ok - apologies in advance for any glitches.

I'm on my blog today for the new bi-weekly I Love Promarkers blog challenge , it would be wonderful if you joined us over there if you love to colour with  alcohol markers and don't forget there are prizes up for grabs.

You can find all of the rules and details for the challenge over on the blog.

This challenge is being sponsored by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps

There are so many funny and quirky mages in the store to play with so it was really difficult to choose for today.

Here is my inspiration card for the current blog challenge with the theme A Circular Card, using a fun image Cuddly Critters Elephant

I think this Elephant is looking so confused - maybe its because he keeps rolling over on my circular card

Elephants are my favourite animal so I knew I had to use this chap coloured with my promarkers (see below for colours ) before cutting out.

Todays circular card is made from a 6" x 6" card blank, I have cut the card using my largest circular die and then added an extra layer to hide the top/fold of the card.

I have used some fun papers from my stash from an old DoCrafts collection that I thought were perfect for my fun card, matting and layering with pink card stock.

The two strip sentiments are from Lisa Horton Crafts, simply layered onto the pink card.

The finishing touches for my card are some pink enamel dots and glossy accents for the elephants eyes.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my magical card for today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the I Love Markers blog

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !
