For a Man or a Boy - Tons of Love Collection - Digi Choosday - It's Your Big Day with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday.  I hope that you have a lovely day today and that you enjoy your week ahead.

It's that time of the week when we launch a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

The theme set for the DT this week is to create ' a card for a Man or a Boy' so
I decided to create a card for a little boy and chose to use one of the sweet elephants from the Tons of Love collection.

Today's card is a larger 5" x 7" Z-fold card so I started by choosing a couple of papers from the collection to mat onto my card blank.

I decided to use the birthday elephant digital stamp and resized the image to suit my card size, printing it out along with one of the fabulous sentiments from the collection. After colouring with promarkers I fussy cut the elephant out ready to add to my card.

To add interest I die cut a silver frame, using nested dies and adhered this to the centre of the card before adhering my elephant into the centre using foam tape along with the sentiment.

Finishing touches where some rose gold confetti around the design,
white gel pen highlights and clear sparkle on his crown. Perfect I think for any little boy...who says boys don't like pink and brown !

I hope that you like my project today and you'll enjoy the next cards I share from Polkadoodles

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Big Birthday Wishes - Tons of Love with Polkadoodles

Hello and happy Thursday everyone....I hope that you are enjoying the week.....I think I have caught up with myself now after my trip - its amazing how long its taken me....unpacking, washing and catching up on sleep !

I'm back today to share another card made using the gorgeous new Tons of Love collection
by Polkadoodles

Elephants are my absolute favourite animal - I would have a real one in my garden if it was allowed !

If you haven't looked yet, it's a great digital collection for all sorts of projects, Valentines, birthdays, New Babies, Spring cards and lots more and as always there are black and white digital stamps for you to colour and pre-coloured versions if you prefer.  There are 3 gorgeous paper bundles, a fabulous bundle of sentiments and there's also a set of elephant number images for those special birthday celebrations too.

Don't forget if you want some more inspiration for this collection why not have a look in the Inspiration Gallery on the website.

Today's sweet card is using the digital stamp Gift Time, he is such a happy chap and who wouldn't want a present with him on top!

This is an A6 popup card, I'm loving this style at the moment as they are so easy to make.

To make the card base I have used a cherry red card stock with a mat layer of deep red and then used 3 papers from the collection on the different panels of the card.

For the centre popup panel I used a fabulous ricrac style die to cut a piece of the deep red card added a die cut layer of paper and then the cute elephant to the top with foam tape for dimension.

The elephant with his present has been coloured with Promarkers (see below for colours) and then fussy cut out.

To finish off my card I die cut different sized stars with some of the papers and adhered these around the design along with lots of gold confetti, star sequins and shimmer.

The sentiment  is from the collection cut into a simple strip, layered onto deep re card with a touch of distress ink to take away the stark white of the card.

I hope that you like my card full of love today from this wonderful new Tons of Love by Polkadoodles and you'll be back to see another card from me very soon.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

I Love Promarkers Blog - #535 - A Circular Card

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! I hope that you are having a lovely week and the weather is being kind to you.

I've scheduled this blog post so fingers crossed it posts ok and looks ok - apologies in advance for any glitches.

I'm on my blog today for the new bi-weekly I Love Promarkers blog challenge , it would be wonderful if you joined us over there if you love to colour with  alcohol markers and don't forget there are prizes up for grabs.

You can find all of the rules and details for the challenge over on the blog.

This challenge is being sponsored by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps

There are so many funny and quirky mages in the store to play with so it was really difficult to choose for today.

Here is my inspiration card for the current blog challenge with the theme A Circular Card, using a fun image Cuddly Critters Elephant

I think this Elephant is looking so confused - maybe its because he keeps rolling over on my circular card

Elephants are my favourite animal so I knew I had to use this chap coloured with my promarkers (see below for colours ) before cutting out.

Todays circular card is made from a 6" x 6" card blank, I have cut the card using my largest circular die and then added an extra layer to hide the top/fold of the card.

I have used some fun papers from my stash from an old DoCrafts collection that I thought were perfect for my fun card, matting and layering with pink card stock.

The two strip sentiments are from Lisa Horton Crafts, simply layered onto the pink card.

The finishing touches for my card are some pink enamel dots and glossy accents for the elephants eyes.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my magical card for today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the I Love Markers blog

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Baby Girl Welcome with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone I hope that you are having a lovely Monday and Easter Monday for my U.K. Family and Friends.

Everything is now back to normal here after the Easter Feria, it was wonderful but I'm now shattered and in need of a lot of catching up with myself.

My Physio appointment went really well this morning too so things are definitely starting to move in the right direction with my shoulder.

I'm here today with my DT inspiration card for Last Minute Manda and its also a card commission for a friend.

This is such a sweet set of digital stamps called Baby Emma
I decided to make a larger 5" x 7" card and use my new frame die to create a panel for the image.

The polka dot centre panel is a digital paper from Polkadoodles from the recent Rebel collection paper bundle set 1

Emma has been coloured with my promarkers and then fussy cut out before adding to the card with low profile foam tape.

I used some simple word dies to cut out the words Baby and Welcome and have layered these up for dimension and coloured with my promarkers to match the card - this is a great way to use card if you don't have an exact match.

I have added just a touch of clear sparkle pen to the balloons and flowers and then a few sequins scattered around the design to finish off the card.

Don't forget if you head over to the new Last Minute Manda store use my special discount code Wendy25 to get 25% off your shopping.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
