New Release - Udderly Cute & Totally Loved - Valentine's & Love cards - Udderly Cute collection with Polkadoodles

Hello and happy Sunday everyone... I'm late again updating my blog but we've been busy in the garden today whilst the sun was out, pruning and burning the waste to try and keep on top of everything.

I wanted to share another of my cards using the newly released adorable cows....I think this would make a great birthday card for someone special, or just to send love.

Udderly Cute Cows is a sweet digital collection filled with adorable cow characters, soft farmhouse details and a gentle Valentine/friendship theme that is also designed to be used for general everyday card making and crafting too - why not think of telling someone you love them for whatever the reason.

Designed in a cream and blush pink palette with a shabby chic, watercolour feel, these printables are perfect for creating heartfelt cards and projects that make someone smile.

This versatile collection is ideal for Valentine’s Day, friendship, birthdays and thoughtful just-because makes. Simply download, print and craft to create handmade cards, tags, journals, scrapbook pages and small gifts, all with a sweet, feel-good cow-themed twist.

With 12 digital stamps for you to colour, pre-coloured clipart, greetings, quotes, printable papers and ephemera and SVG outline files - you have everything you need to make the most gorgeous handmade cards and crafts you can be proud of!

This is my second card using the new release but as always there's loads more inspiration for you in the gallery on the Polkadoodles website

My 5" x 7" or A7 card filled with love today uses Heartfelt Wishes coloured with my Promarkers.  I created a stacked frame using one of the pretty papers from the collection, die cutting this and adhering to several frames cut from card stock ( I use cereal boxes for the base layers as it's free, great for recycling and you cant see the card once its complete.

The little hearts were cut (on my Scan n Cut!) from one of the lovely ephemera sheets and I think they make the perfect addition to the card.

The finishing touches for the card was lots of extra sparkle to the coloured hearts, gems to the centre of the little flowers and some clear sparkly gems around the design.

I hope that you like my projects today and you'll enjoy the next that I share from Polkadoodles.

A Passion for Markers Blog Spot Challenge #774 - All about Love - Sponsored by All Dressed Up

Hello and a happy Tuesday to you all ! I hope you are all well and keeping warm - its freezing here again and we've had a little more rain which always makes the house feel colder....off to the shops in Granada today so I might treat myself to a super chunky jumper for these cold winter nights.

Today I'm here to let you know that a new challenge has started over on the Passion for Markers Blog challenge.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by All Dressed Up stamps and our theme of 'All About Love' this week was chosen for team 2 by the Me... it is the month of love after all and Valentines Day isn't far away.

I chose to use a really sweet image called Kitty Hearts as you know how much we love our kitties - what a better way to be than together and as the sentiment says 'Everything's better when we are together'.

I have created a simple A7 5" x7" Z-fold card for this with pretty papers from Lili of the Valley from the Funky Hearts collection layered onto red cardstock.

I resized the image to suit my card blank adding a digital sentiment at the top of the panel and then printed out onto alcohol friendly card stock before colouring with my Promarkers.

I added glossy accents to the little red hearts on the image and also some extra die cut hearts to balance the design and add lots more extra love to my card.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the Passion for Markers blog

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !

Best Wishes - Sending Love - New Release with Lili of the Valley (LOTV)

Hello everyone wishing you all a lovely Wednesday.... I hope that your week is going well.

I'm back today with a card project for Lili of the Valley (LOTV) using one of the gorgeous  stamps from the new release of Polymer stamps which is available to order now from the Etsy shop (despatching from 21st January).  There are 4 gorgeous A5 sets and you can buy in a bundle or individually.

My first card is using stamps from the Sending Love set to create a happy rainbow of flowers - I think we all need a rainbow to cheer us up at times.

I created my rainbow background with a stencil and distress inks and stencilled hills towards the bottom of the panel with the sun rising up in the middles of the hills.  Then I die cut a white card frame and adhered this to my A6 card blank before adding my rainbow of heart plants to the frame, using foam tape for dimension.

The flowers and the butterfly were coloured with Promarkers

Finishing touches were some clear sparkle and clear iridescent sequins around the design and glossy accents on the champagne glass.

I Love Promarkers #554 - Love and Romance - Sponsored by Hetty Clare

Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful Wednesday!

I'm on my blog today for the new bi-weekly I Love Promarkers blog challenge , it would be wonderful if you joined us over there if you love to colour with alcohol markers and don't forget there are prizes up for grabs.

You can find all of the rules and details for the challenge over on the blog.

This challenge is being sponsored by Hetty Clare

Here is my inspiration card for the current blog challenge with the theme - Love and Romance, using this super cute digital stamp, which is one of a set of three stamps.

I'm definitively feeling all loved up this week after our wedding anniversary on Sunday and this is just the type of card I would send my hubby.
The digital image was resized and printed before colouring with promarkers before fussy cutting out.

I chose some lovely paper full of hearts for the background and adhered this to a piece of card after die cutting with a stitched edge die.
I used an arch die to cut out the centre of the panel and used a heart embossing folder to add beautiful texture to the arch behind the window.

I used a darker teal card to die cut a thin arch frame to contrast between the paper and the white embossed panel.
The sentiment was printed out and then foiled in teal foil before adhering to the card at the top of the arch.

To finish off my card I added teal confetti around the card.

I really hope that you like my card today and will drop by again to see my next project and don't forget to join in with the challenge over on the I Love Markers blog

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Love, Love, Love with Pattie's Creations

Happy Friday everyone I hope that you are all well and have had a lovely week.

The first Friday of the month marks the start of a new Challenge for December over on the Pattie's Creations Design Challenge blog

The challenge runs from the first Friday of the month and its an Anything Goes challenge or our theme for February as you would expect is Love, Love, Love, as long as you use a digital or stamped image in your project, so why not join in the challenge.

Winners of the challenge will receive 2 digital stamps of your choice from Pattie's shop.

Pattie has some wonderful digital stamps in her Etsy Shop pattiescreations and there is also a freebie every month on the blog that you can use in your project if you want to!

For my February project, I chose  to use the Bear Love with Balloons digital stamp to create a 6" x 6" card.

I resized the image to suit and printed it out, colouring with Promarkers and then fussy cutting out.

The sentiment on my design panel is from the Love Always collection by Polkadoodles and I have foiled this with gold foil , before cutting out and layering with card for dimension.
I chose a paper from my stash to coordinate with the cute fluffy bear and adhered this to a Kraft card blank, adding two strips of the reverse paper towards the bottom of the card, this would allow me to ground the bear image.

The heart was die cut from vellum before embossing with a heart design embossing folder and then I have added this to the card, hiding any glue behind the bear image. I find that vellum is perfect when there is a busy background paper in the design, to separate it from the image better.

To finish off the card I added a few sequins around the design, added clear sparkle to the balloons and glossy accents to the bear's nose.

I do hope that you like my card for today and don't forget to join in with this months challenge over on the blog.

Love and Kisses - Just Lovely Honeypie with Polkadoodles

Happy Tuesday everyone I hope that you are having a good week so far !

It's the start of a brand new 'Anything Goes' challenge over on the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Blog so I hope you are going to join in and don't forget the amazing discount off all crafty printable downloads until midnight today!

Valentine's Day is not far away now and this week the DT was asked to make a Valentine themed card so I decided to make an easel card.

I don't really make lots of valentines cards but I do love sending love cards and I think this sweet image and sentiment would be perfect for lots of different occasions, anniversaries, birthdays or just to send a little love to someone any time of the year.

I chose to use a digital stamp from the  Honeypie Just Lovely collection  this one is called Sweetheart Balloons

The digital stamp was first resized on my computer to suit a 5" circle of cardstock  before printing out and colouring with my promarkers (see below for colours used)

I chose a sentiment from the Love Always sentiment bundle and a selection of different coordinating papers from the new Love Birds - Wings of Love collection

I started by creating an easel card from a standard 6" x 6" card blank and then used my circle dies to cut a couple of different sized circles adding a layer of paper to each one before adding these to my easel card.

My coloured Honeypie image was fussy cut and adhered to the circle panel using low profile foam tape and I've added extra heard elements and a banner for interest and extra texture.

The embossed heart base for my sentiment has add distress ink gently blended over the embossing detail.

Just a few pieces of confetti were then scattered around the design.

I hope that you like my card for today and will come back to see my next project

Love on your special day with Last Minute Manda

Hello everyone.... I hope that you are all enjoyed the weekend and have some lovely plans for the week ahead.  We're expecting the temperature to plummet this week so I'm hoping that will mean lots more crafty time for me ๐Ÿคž and maybe a little cooking, some warming soups and comfort food I think

It's Monday so that means I'm on my blog today with my DT inspiration card made for Last Minute Manda

My card today is using the Purrfect Valentine digital stamp set

I always thought I was definitely a dog person, we had a Boarder Collie called Susie when I was younger and then a Labrador called Harvey.

The plan when we moved here was to have rescue dogs - we even bought a dog guard for the first car we bought her.  But when we moved over here  permanently from the U.K. we were very quickly adopted by an extended family of cats.

We've currently got 4 permanent ones ( Tabby, Shadow, Bramble and Foxy) that spend time during the day in the house, then we have 2 permanent ones that live outside ( Dora and Mr Ed) and currently another male that is trying to move in.....he's now being called Brian !

We laugh sometimes that there must be a sign up somewhere telling the local cats where to go if they need food, medicines or somewhere to stay and be looked after !!

Anyway, I have a simple sweet landscape card  for you today.  I started by printing some digital paper and then coloured the image to co-ordinate with the papers using my Promarkers (see below for colours)

I've die cut a heart in vellum and then used a floral embossing folder to give the vellum detail.  The heart was adhered to the background panel and then the kitty image adhered using foam tape.

Adding a layer of vellum gives a little separation when the background is quite a busy paper.

I've stamped a secondary sentiment in the bottom corner of this card and then scattered a few sequins around the design.

A perfect card for Valentines and loads of other occasions.

Don't forget if you head over to the new Last Minute Manda store use my special discount code Wendy25 to get 25% off your shopping.

I really hope that you like my card today and it would be lovely if you you leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Hasta luego ๐Ÿ‘‹

Enjoy the rest of your day !
